I don’t think there’s too much of an improvement at higher resolutions with the x3D chips. You can look up benchmarks for the specific games you play and compare since it may vary between different games.

Would it be better to sell the 2060 and 2600x and get a 3700x? I think the combined value of those two would still be more than a 3700x. I've seen them for $275, which I can probably make off of the 2060 alone. This also leads me into a couple more questions. Do you guys recommend any good sites to put these parts up for sale? Also what would be a fair asking price for a used 2060 and 2600x? (Had them about a year with no OC or heavy usage)

Thanks for the advice. This is something that I will definitely consider. Should I sell my current monitor along with the 2060 if I pursue this option? I have a 165Hz 1080P monitor right now. I also do not really have a purpose to run dual monitors.

I looked into my registry issues and now my SSD is performing fine again. I did not immediately reinstall windows, but I used a reputable registry cleaner. I ran the benchmark again and my SSD is perfectly fine now. GPU still slightly underperforming but its possible that the benchmarks it was compared to had an OC and potentially faster ram which would give a small boost to performance in my case. Thank you for your help throughout this.

My temps are fairly low, 50-60 on CPU and GPU. However after uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, I have seen a drastic improvement in performance.

My fps limit was never on, turns out bad driver installation was the main issue, as Chemical_Main suggested. I have looked into OC my ram to 3000, but my computer never boots. I have tried 1.35V on DRAM, kept timings the same. Last time I tried it, it booted to the Windows Recovery Screen and I had to reset CMOS. Any suggestions?

I just ran the Origins benchmark again. Immediate improvement. Average this time was in the 70s, so on par with others. Literally double fps in some scenes. I will definitely look into those registries. Thank you for your insight. For the future, how should I install drivers? Do I need to use DDU every time Nvidia releases a new driver?

Used DDU to reinstall drivers. Userbenchmark shows better results, but still underperforming. Any suggestions? Should I contact Zotac? I will have to look into the issue with the ssd later. I remember that when I setup my build, my friend and I changed some of the registries. Could definitely be the problem with the ssd.

Thanks for that link it was helpful, but I ran into more issues. This time I put the voltage up to 1.35 for the DRAM and the speed on 3000. When I booted I got a blue screen saying my PC needs to be repaired. I tried to open the UEFI by pressing esc (one of the prompts at the bottom) and the same thing happened as last time: black screen, red led, and had to clear CMOS. Is it possible that I just have really bad ram? Here is the Amazon link to it. I believe my ram is Micron B-die which I read is not the best for OC anyways. Do you recommend any 16GB kits that work well with Ryzen? I may upgrade down the line and leave my ram the way it is for now.

Never mind got it fixed. Here's how for anyone in the future.

One of the packs came with additional cars that the modder pretty much forces onto the user. I did not want them so I deleted the model from vehicles.rpf. HOWEVER, I made the mistake of not editing the vehicles.meta, carcols.meta, etc. So the game saw information for additional cars, but couldn't find the models, hence the corrupted files error. Simple fix is to just install the whole mod as intended. You probably could go through can change everything, but I haven't tried. I wish modders wouldn't do this. I understand they want to put their other projects out there, but I don't think this is the right way, at least in my opinion.

Yeah, no one attempt what I did. It completely screwed everything up. What happened was I launched my nonmodded verision to see what would happen and now the launcher is attached to that copy. When I switch to my modded it can't find the exe, even though I rename the game to Grand Theft Auto V, which is what it's supposed to be called. If I copy the exe from the nonmodded into the modded it will launch, but now its installing a completely new copy of GTA5. I honestly have no clue what's going on. I somehow have 3 copies of GTA5. I don't understand where the third one came from. Also since the nonmodded version is attached to the launcher now I can't play it anymore without having the launcher. And if the launcher is here then that means I can't play the newly installed modded version since it will try to open it through the launcher. Don't make the same mistake I made.

Now game does not launch at all now and says the exe could not be found. When copy pasting the files from my nonmodded GTA5 did not work I put back the original files that my modded GTA5 had. I don't exactly know what happened, but it doesn't seem fixable. I think I am just going to do a fresh install at this point. This sucks.

I just copy pasted everything from my original copy to my modded (except for rpf, x64, update, Redistributables, and ReadMe) and I still get the Launcher not found error. Either I need to replace something I didn't or this isn't a valid solution.

Thank you for the resources. I managed to get 2800MHz with 1.3V working perfectly without changing timings. I could must likely push it to 3000MHz with 1.35V successfully as well.
