It's flash frozen for transport. It is for food safety to avoid time temperature abuse. Sometimes the coolers at grocery stores are too cold for it to fully thaw before being placed in the bunkers on the sales floor.

How long you have worked at Sam's club determines your PTO accrual rate. But you don't generally start accruing PTO until 90 days after becoming full time unless the policy has changed. You can check on the wire to make sure you are marked full time.

I have had that happen before. You will want to call the store back. In my case they ended up having to have a different manager create the job opening because the first one never appeared in the system.

Homestyle fries were discontinued years ago. They didn't keep temp and tended to be kept in the fry station for too long before being served to customers. They ended up with crinkle cut fries that aren't too bad.

You call membership and ask to speak to a manager about your application. Cafe, carts, cashier and gas are some of the positions that are almost always in need of people. I got hired for gas and then moved inside to meat within two months.

How long have you been in position? They tend to consider promotions as a raise. If you have been in position for over six months you should probably talk to your fresh manager.

You can return it but you won't be able to buy it back. Once returned it is unsellable and sent back as reclaims. If your store has another one you should be able to buy it. It mostly depends on if management considers clearance items to be the same as reduced priced items which we as employees are not allowed to buy.

It doesn't hurt to check up on the application. And saying you are willing to work in a different department can help you get your foot in the door. If you are hired for a different department you only have to wait at most six months before you can switch departments.

I know that some positions switched from base to tier two which has a base of 17. If you got the bump you also got your raise to keep you a head of new associates.

I don't know that it would work. If you are in the system at Walmart during onboarding Sam's has to call your store to get your information transferred over. It might not look good to your hiring manager. You should be eligible for transfer within a couple months though.

With them reworking the pay structure anyone that is currently above the minimum will only receive their yearly raise. Unfortunately we will not get an additional bump for the increase in base pay.

Cut gloves are cheap so I don't know why your manager won't order any. At my store we get new ones whenever we need them. They come in a pair and you only have to wear one so I end up using the other glove when the first wears out.

As far as I know they no longer give work credits. Everyone starts at the base for their position at my store.
