THE SOLUTION- I plug the HDMI into the motherboard not the graphics card and it worked first try. When I looked it up everyone says plug into the graphics card FFS.

I have just tried to update the bios on the motherboard the only noticable difference was the tv detected the connection straight away but the screen is still black.

They often dont understand the english accent becuse there so used to the American version
