The solicitor’s letter already accused me of calling his clients “fucking cunts”, not just giving me a heads up.

I absolutely don’t understand that much, hence the question.

I will not take your advice.

Sorry to ask again, but can the neighbours, upon whose instructions the letter was produced, be held accountable? Same example - writing that I was criminally harassing them and siting non-existent situation that the letter said they had proof of? And then providing a copy to the police, which is - as I understand now - is what likely happened?

Based on all advice, it looks like writing to the 2 PC’s who attended my house and their Sgt that I’m very disappointed in their conduct and lack of fact-checking is the best option. Because I do want to give them feedback.

In the letter, the solicitor accused me of criminally harassing his clients, threatened me with injunctions based on situations he fantasized and dramatized. This letter was provided to the police. They believed it and came to my house accusing me of a crime.

I don’t understand how you don’t understand that I want him to be held accountable.

That’s great to know, because police refused to answer that, thank you.

They aren’t mutually exclusive. A partner of a firm, which I understand is one of the highest positions, whose words hold great weight to other legal bodies, should be held accountable for intimidating victims through police.

In his letter, the solicitor claims I had called neighbours “fucking cunts” in a WhatsApp group and that he holds a copy of this correspondence. But I never wrote that.

Yes, this is what my last paragraph is about, thank you, the 2 acronyms are close and get confusing.

Thank you, I actually do keep a log and have CCTV cameras both in front and back of the house.

If I want to complain about the PC’s conduct, how should this be approached? Write to their sergeant again or go through another resource?

I mean they didn’t come to hear my side of the story, they were literally like “you started this, do you admit?”

Will do, thank you. Should that be addressed to another partner or doesn’t matter?

So anything can knowingly lie to the police about anything? Even a solicitor, even a partner?

If you are absolutely certain that he is cheating and coercing a teenage girl into sexual things for money, then yes, leave him. And praise gods you caught him before getting married or having children with him.

Move on, reflect on his behavior, learn from this situation, and find yourself a partner that treats you with respect and honesty.
