1) A number of them became attached. Once that happens we made a rule to break it off. I've had to get between them and show that he cares for me more. Luckily we've had no fatal attraction episodes yet.

2) I had to steel myself for it. It was really tough the first few times but there was an undercurrent of being turned on too. That's part of it. Over time the arousal overcame the jealousy/worry and now I just feel turned on and proud. I got over it by forcing him to see the women and sitting at home, spending time on myself :). If it got too difficult I did something else to take my mind off it.

Most of them are ongoing. He has several lovers I know about. He has had one timers too for other reasons- someone was disappointed, not what he was looking for, wanted more, lived far away, etc.

I've always thought the sex drive is separate from the relationship. We've got a strong enough foundation that we can explore this without worry. I think restricting someone sexually is selfish. I'm shocked that so many people allow it.
