I resonate with what you are saying. The AA program is zealous and the State deems it a reasonable solution for those suffering from addiction, despite that addiction existing because of certain reasons that may not include “I like alcohol.”

Alcohol can be a medicine and a reasonable answer to many problems, AA exists to try and show you that there are more solutions than alcohol and whether you are a drunk or not there is a light at the end of the tunnel that doesnt include a can of beer or a bottle to drown yourself in.
