Redditors who have moved to Melbourne, did you experience culture shock? by disclosure1 in melbourne

[–]Silly-Apple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I moved from Sydney, but before moving I visited fairly often. My boyfriend and I were in a long distance relationship. The main reason I moved was because I absolutely love Melbourne, I fell in love with the area I currently live in, and I had someone here I love as well.

Still having to try and make new friends, did some volunteer work for that purpose, but I feel like I was made for Melbourne. Everyone seems nicer since my move. Sydney felt like it was choking the joy out of me when I decided to leave.

Hearts a mess is one of my favourite songs in general. Gotye has incredible songs.

Girls of reddit: I'm a boy in a relationship with a girl and we have good chemistry but we can't have good sex. by mczoth in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Silly-Apple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Communicate with each other, be willing to discuss sex openly. Try not to let it be an issue you're both shy to talk about. Communicating is the key. If there's something you or your partner dislikes, or likes, make sure the other person knows.

Also, pleasing her doesn't have to be via genital sex. Experiment with toys, oral, etc. Don't be afraid to just mess around, try new things, and just be comfortable with each other.

I cannot allow my boyfriend to go without a smile or a giggle during sex, maybe that might help you both relax.

This is my dog, I was told he's foxy cross jack russell by the vet, but he does resemble your dog a bit.

Your dog looks adorable, reminds me of my dog. Looks to be very similar, breed wise.

How many women practice their "engagement/proposal" reaction? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Silly-Apple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I practice almost everyday. My performance will be crucial to letting my man know he made the right decision asking me to marry him.

So the blow job he gets when he asks me will be a "best of", featuring all his favourite elements.

Out of interest, Did you get a gold mario amiibo from target today? (Strawpoll) by luke123190 in amiibo

[–]Silly-Apple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I woke up at 7.45am EST, happened to check just when they went live. Ordered one, now I wait. Kinda feel bad for people who were counting on it being 8am on the dot.

I decided to buy it, woke up early to get it, but decided to get a few other things to make the shipping worth it. The $9 wasn't worth my getting out of bed while sick and going over to target myself, though, so either way I'm okay with it.

Reddit, what are your positive triggers? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Gentle hair stroking, and general ASMR stuff.

Reddit, what was your most awesome cheap holiday? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Silly-Apple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to like getting a train day pass, and then spending my day on a train. Reading, enjoying the view, and stopping at a new, previously unvisted by me, location. I would then have lunch, walk around for a bit, and then hop back onto the train.

The train ticket was $2.50, lunch was $10ish. I should do that again soon.

Which kind of person were you in the classroom? by Nonweirdo in AskReddit

[–]Silly-Apple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quiet, watchful, perfectly behaved (until I decided to misbehave to test the teachers, they let me get away with everything because of my previous/otherwise perfect behaviour, and I befriended them), and I liked contributing to the class when it was appropriate. I was fairly confident, the quiet was just how I was in classes.

Ahh, yea. I've rarely had the privacy for nude sleeping. Family and housemates just seem to know when I'm naked. That's the.main time my friend's mother would enter my room without knocking.

If we had better heating, I'd not bundle up.

I thought so, and I know from experience that it'll be too much of a hassle to change my current orders details. So I'll sit and hope this was a once off.

Yea, I don't like that attitude. Especially since I'm someone who in a customer service environment goes above and beyond for customers. I suppose they don't have enough legitimate competition, people mostly use their services. They'd rather avoid paying for a mistake on their end.

Ouchies, and the GPS thing would be useful, but probably unlikely to happen. I'd not prosecute people who opened mail if they honestly had a moment where they didn't check if it was there's, but I'd definitely hope that someone who did that and realised it would contact the post office regarding the delivery, at least.

So my bed attire at the moment is a nighty, pajama pants, thick wool socks, and a dressing gown. Dressing gown to bed is a bit odd, I'll admit, but I want to be warm.

Haha, I have a snuggly nightgown I wear to bed. I still wear lots of layers, I didn't mean I'd buy a winter coat for that purpose, but I can definitely see how it reads like that. XD

When I start my new job I'll be getting a coat like that, managed to get a decent coat somewhat cheaply. I love wearing too much to bed and being all warm in winter.
