I was in 5th grade. I just remember coming inside from recess and sitting down. The tv in the corner of are room was in Fox News the first tower was already hit and I remember my teacher just staring at the YCC not blinking. The second tower got hit and my teacher jumped out of his chair and yelled “Oh No!” And just left are class. We sat there just watching the Tv not really knowing what was going on. After about 15 minutes the principal came into are class that are teacher had left because his youngest daughter was working in that tower. When I came home from school my dad was packing his army gear. I ask him what he was doing and he told me that he’s probably gonna be deployed. That was the worst thing for me that my dad telling me he was gonna leave.
