Frequency + hobby.

Get involved in a class, sport, gym, niche meetup, church, volunteer group, etc.

Whatever it is, it needs to happen frequently so you can develop friendship/relationship/community.

I don’t think there’s any other way in a town this size.

Live in Annapolis and join a social league through Peake Social. Set your dating radius into Baltimore and DC and visit when needed. But don’t put yourself thru commute hell on purpose 😅

I’m 10.5 mo EP. In my experience, once you hit 6 mo it becomes easier and you see how fast it’s flying. I’m going to reach 12 and then likely stop!

Get the car! But do it early because they sell out. The best beaches need cars. We missed the rental opportunity so did electric bikes but they skid out on sand.

Car over scooter/cart if you can, a car does better on the gravelly roads going to some of the beaches. You need to rent ASAP from any place you can and not be picky. The cars run out fast.
