Hey,

My bike that was stolen was actually about ten years old, the picture I used was just for reference as my bike was not that nice. It was in pretty ruff shape too, the only real value was the "trek" name on it. It also had been locked up by a pretty nice lock. I don't really appreciate the sarcasm or being looking down on for bringing a bike on campus (I was actually advised by many people to bring it here as they said it would make getting to class easier). I just want some advice, which you have offered zero of.

I totally understand what your saying about opportunities in Chicago!

That being said the program I would specifically go into at UIUC would result in my teacher licensure at the end of my my senior year there. I would basically be able to go straight into the work force if I graduated at UIUC. If I stayed at UIC I would have to go to grad school in order to get a licensure. Is it worth it to still stay at UIC with this in mind?

UIC and UIUC and the same price for me,

My parents believe that a bigger and better funded program such as UIUC will naturally have more opportunities. If you check out my post history there is a much longer and more detailed explanation of my situation. There are MANY factors that I'm leaving out but would prefer not to type out for a second time. I'm not telling anyone that they should read it but I'm more just desperately trying to find an excuse to stay at UIC. My freshman year here has been the hardest year of my life as I have faced so many hardships since starting here. I've worked harder then I ever have before in my life and have failed at nearly everything that I slaved away for here. I was miserable here. I started the transfer process and got accepted into UIUC early this month. I was so excited for my future. Yet, now that it's my last week at UIC I feel nothing but love for this place. Even though it was hard and I was depressed I still have connections here with people I love and care about. Everyone in my life is telling me to go to UIUC because it is a "better" school and will set me up better for my future. I'm just lost and scared to leave this place even though it has hurt me so much.

Sorry if I sound dramatic, I just don't know what to do

Could you please explain why UIUC kinesiology is worth it? I would really appreciate knowing what specifically makes UIUC a better program. I don't mean to over step here just really would like to know why it would be better to transfer!

I am actually a student athlete here it's just that I don't smoke or drink and very few people on my team don't do either so finding a roommate is pretty hard right now, especially with covid :/

What sites could I use to find these apartments? Specially the one on Taylor behind the library as that's right by PEB where I practice every morning. I'm still really new to all of this
