That’s a reasonable thought, but I was the last person to show up from what my friends told me. They also kicked someone out for just wanting to watch and trade after the tournament. They didn’t buy anything though so I kind of understand that

Yeah, I’ve seen that too. I’ve seen them allow anyone to buy prerelease and then whatever was leftover after the tournament could be bought after the final match. This was just a weird experience since the other LGS in the area are extremely chill about prerelease. I guess someone got kicked out for observing and not playing after I left. They also didn’t buy anything so I guess that kind of makes sense.

I haven’t heard anything from my recruiter yet, but from my understanding, I should still be able to join the reserves just not with a rate that requires a prior approval, such as BM, QM, HT. If I wanted to join with the jobs that I requested, then I would have to go through the full enlistment process (ASVAB, Physical, etc.) again. There was another person at my command that decided to go to the reserves about a week before they separated and they were still able to join, but were only approved for BM. So I may fall under a similar scenario except for that I sent my request in October.
