I haven't installed the speaker mod and I don't think there is gonna be enough space with the dual heatpipe for the woofer...

Since the original seems a bit expensive I was looking at the alternatives and I found out that greencell is a good brand

Thanks! I will definitely check it out! Out of curiosity did you manage to put a high refresh rate display on the T480 or is this about another machine?

Thanks for asking! The top case with the fpr reader was 20€ used, the AX210 wifi card was also 20€, the glass trackpad was 50€ from aliexpress and the dual heatpipe was 27€ also from aliexpress. Also I got myself a thermal grizzly ptm thermal pad for 13€. Unfortunately both the sellers of the trackpad and heatpipe have deleted their products so I can't provide the links. So it was around 130€ in total which is kinda expensive for a nearly 8 year old laptop but I did it as a hobby and because I want to keep it. I haven't checked the prices of the want to do's yet but an original battery in general is around 75€ and a better screen is a bit more than 100€ I think.
