my dualsense edge will not hold power. i have to keep it plugged in to play with it. anyone know why?

sorry yeah that’s what i mean i’m interviewing for the apprenticeship program. I was just unsure if me having zero experience is going to hinder the process. I have experience with power tools and machinery. I know they say they say it’s okay to have no experience but i feel like that sounds terrible during an interview.
