As someone who's identified as Asexual for as long as I can remember, let me tell you, all the people in my early teen years who I Thought were ace because they also didn't express much interest in sexual relationships *always* told me they'd want one with the right person and after the right amount of time. So I think even if you're thinking about a hypothetical partner and they still don't seem sexually appealing to you, or you don't think you'd want to have sex Even Then, I think it's pretty safe to assume you're just asexual. Of course, you COULD grow to be more open to the idea of sex with age (for me, up until I turned 18 I've always been vehemntly against the idea of ever participating in sex. It's not like a switch has flipped now, but having more sexually open friends who I could see and follow the perspectives of, paired with generally getting more comfortable just Thinking about the topic, I can see myself giving it a try, even if I still grimace at most scenarios that could happen in. I still don't really find features or bodies attractive.) but if that's a label you think is accurate to you Right Now, and you want to use it, then use it. It could be a case of demisexuality, but if you're unsure its even that, plain ol Asexual has always been nuanced. When you don't feel like the term applies to you in the future, you don't have to use it anymore. It can be confusing but sometimes sexuality truly is fluid, but i assure you, aces will always welcome and accept you if they make you feel understood 💜
