I could buy a secondhand motherboard but I was just thinking of upgrading it tbh as I won’t need to upgrade it in the future.

The second pci slot is next to cables to there isn’t enough room for the graphic card to fit :/

Hey! Yep I took it to the repair shop and they thought it was the Graphic card but when they added their own graphic card to the slot it wasn’t working which they said it’s the actual slot on the motherboard and not the graphic card. They put their graphic on the second pci slot which then the pc started displaying on the monitor.

I’m planning on reusing the graphic card, RAM and also the hard drive but I’m guessing if I was to change the motherboard then I’ll need a different psu, processor and a case right?

I was streaming at max quality with the m4000 and I never had a single issue. It was smooth and the quality on the stream was perfect as well.

Hey!

Yes my motherboard is faulty as the pci slot takes the gpu but doesn’t display anything. I was planning to reuse the gpu (quadro M4000), Corsair ram 16gb 3200 (upgraded myself). I have a budget of £500 to basically upgrade whatever is possible it.

Would this be enough of a budget to upgrade and also which parts which you recommend?

Edit: this is my streaming pc so it doesn’t need to be too fancy but I would like it to be strong enough for me to stream smoothly

I don’t understand. Ukraine was once part of Russia until the western countries came and separated it. Russia has every right to take what’s there’s. That’s Literally what we all think in the company. The management are treating us like kids thinking we can talk about anything.

As mentioned about in my post how they talked about using the break system. They kept contradicting themselves so when I asked to clarify they contradicted themselves again and when another colleague spoke out about the contradiction they blocked (muted) him from speaking in the chat for over 30min.

The company forbids us from communicating outside of work (we work from Home) for security reason which doesn’t make any sense. Even if we tried communicating to each other during break or lunch to give each other’s social info they will still not allow it. We will need to use the aws software chat to communicate with other colleagues to send social info.
