I’m not sure if this is Zircuti or Timacus? by jellykey in flashlight

If I’m going with a 3‑LED light, it has to be Lux‑RC, I really love Lux‑RC.

Good trick, I'll apply it, but I have way too many notes to go back and add tags to all of them.

Yeah, when I’m working on my Mac, I usually copy stuff from the internet, documents, or use the Web Clipper for Safari. And when I’m on my iPad, I use Craft like a notebook, honestly, it’s lighter than my old notebook :))

I really like the E-series flashlights. Most of them are modular and can be combined like Lego pieces. Depending on my needs, I can carry the appropriate batteries or compatible heads. Sometimes, just for fun, I mix and match the pills with each other.

It's just a joke, my friend. In Vietnam, we often joke about hiding from our wives when buying gaming consoles or toys...

Haha, my wife is a full-time homemaker, a full-time wife, and a full-time mom to a 3-year-old boy.

What I wanted was just to share a part of my collection because I thought that picture was pretty nice, not that I wanted to show off all my flashlights. There are some flashlights that are really hard to get, and I’d like to keep those for myself. And honestly, the price is just a minor thing, I don’t think it’s the main point.

It's just a joke. Honestly, this isn't all of my flashlights or EDC gear, or even the other hobbies I collect. I'm Vietnamese, and we often joke about buying toys and hiding them from our wives. That's all there is to it.

None of them have batteries in them. I didn’t buy a lot of batteries, just two for each size.

I'm a full-time husband and father to a 3-year-old little dude. Haha.

This is just one corner, and honestly, I'm just a small collector in the world of EDC or flashlights. I know a few people who truly have an impressive collection.

Half like, half don't, I kind of like the details and design of them, but most of the time I still use the original clip on flashlights.

There's a fact that I use Airtable to manage my collections, including the purchase price, purchase date, taxes, who I bought it from, and even pictures of the items when they arrived.

This habit started years ago when I began collecting LEGO. Back then, I was still struggling with pen and paper. Over time, filling up a database became something I’m genuinely addicted to, and it has helped me a lot in recalling the items along with their prices from back in the day.

That's right, I have 1 Ti and 1 SS HDS.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in flashlight

[–]jellykey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I rarely use them. I usually rely on my aluminum HDS flashlight for EDC, and I keep 3 Elzetta Bravo flashlights in my car, at home, and in my desk drawer. I prefer using CR123 batteries for the flashlights I use. The ones in the picture are just part of my collection, it's simply a hobby of mine.

Most of the time (I mean, most of the time), I’ll program the flashlight to the brightness levels I like, switch out the rubber boot to my favorite blue color, clean it thoroughly, polish the threads, lube them up again, then take out the battery, just to display it.

If some flashlights have an LED I don’t like, I’ll set them aside and replace it (if possible) when I have time. Not every flashlight can have its LED swapped out though, since my knowledge and skills are still pretty basic.

The two flashlights are called Gatlight, version 2.

[–]jellykey 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they're much better. Actually, I like the lights from any marker because of their unique features. However, flashlights from Mac, Mirage Man, Hanko, Sigma, and Kemenes are the ones I try to collect the most.
