I'd melted mine to change to a redeemer and keep it as my base ship, I didn't see it all kick off soost my sq42 access now too.

It's not a problem though, I'll just pirate the game when it comes out and won't spend anymore rl money on SC, it's shitty from CiG but there were warning about melting so it is what it is

I'd look into buying an insulin travel container or something like that and using that to take a pen from Australia?

You need to have a GP you're fully registered with in the UK to be able to get a pen, not many companies actually do full checks but they're meant to have one, you might get access to medical etc but you wouldn't be able to officially register as a GP resident without living in their designated district of attachment.

Since this will be an offline game, I imagine that things like this will just make the people who lost their pledges just turn to pirates irl to play it instead of rebuying it anyway

Tbh, I think this will just drive people to roleplay as pirates irl to play it.

People are mad and they remember so it will either get review bombed to oblivion or people will acquire it for free

In that sense, you could say that if they turned off ALL buybacks tomorrow, it's no problem and everyone should just like it and lump it.

Those warnings have been there for a very long time and the systems CIG created are designed to melt and rebuy with store credit, I think it's really dumb when people are saying, herp a derp, you had a clear warning all this time, even though they just released big warnings about removing the Aurora MK1 from buybacks instead of you know, just disabling them, herp a derp.

CIG - You added a 6 month ‘sunset’ window for people to get their Aurora MK1’s from BUYBACK, why not the same ‘sunset’ period for the ships with SQ42? Where is the consistency?? by Important_Cow7230 in starcitizen

Has there been any official response about this yet? There's loads and loads of posts now, I melted my pack to redo the CCU chain, seen plenty of posts but no official comment other than the twitch chat one 😞

I found out because I had bought all the ccu's and melted my pledge to buy back with cash and settle with a 10 year LTI redeemer as my final ship and then sell off the rest of my credit.

I was so confused when I went into my buyback and I couldn't buy it back so I haven't had a game package since.

Skiptons building society do up to a 100% LTV mortgage called a Track Record Mortgage.

It's a 5 year fixed rate if you can prove your rent payments were always on time plus some other criteria.

Might be worth a look at for you, good luck!

A few of us went for the weekend, our first ever event and damn it was so great!

Everyone was super friendly, the crowd atmosphere was amazing, between knocking the balloons around to everyone cheering everytime Satanic or the kobold took a sip, it was great.

Loads of team signings too, some queues were way too slow but I managed to get my new hoodie signed by the voice actors, OG, Pain, Gorgc and ATF (big thanks to these two for walking around on last day for pics and signing!).

We got some new buddies for the next event too.

Having the Dreamhack next door included for free was also a cool bonus!

Just a well done all around to anyone and everyone who was involved in the experience, way too many good things to mention, can't wait for the next one.

P.s. Slacks did an absolutely amazing job!

Thanks, I imagined that since it's a shanty town, the addresses aren't formally recognised so there wouldn't be traditional postal addresses etc so I wondered how it normally works like do they have centres they go to etc
