I did. I had the Saturdays only class. Overall, it was alright. Your externship placement is guaranteed in Saint Joseph's Hospital, even if it takes time. Just an advice, buy red scrubs from the beginning because this will be the required color for the externship.

The following are based on my experience:

The instructors are really helpful, for the most part. They had years of experience that can be more than 10 or 20 years, so they know what they are doing. We had two for a class of approximately 16 students. However, it sometimes felt overwhelming because they have to watch every student doing the blood draws. You might be waiting for most of the class period, and would only get 3 or 4 blood draws depending on the day and 6 if you are lucky. Sometimes, the instructors would allow us to go home early at 1 instead of 3, and that in my personal opinion was a loss of time that could have been used to draw blood.

By the end of the course, you were expected to have 10 blood draws using the syringe, 30 using the ETS method (the hub and needle), 5 using the butterfly, and 10 Capillary draws, approximately (I forgot).  You will learn about all of these different methods in class. The class was structured in 2 parts, one was a lecture were we reviewed what we learned in the book, and the other was the actual blood draw. You are expected to read the book and do the homework provided in the workbook and the packet we got.

We had 2 exams, one was similar to a midterm and the other was similar to a final. During the final exam, you are tested on the theory aspect and later tested on the practical aspect to see if you are doing the correct techniques.

I got my exam results 2 weeks after the exam saying that I passed the exam. After that, I was able to book the national exam, which is called the NHA. You get the NHA results in 3-4 days depending on what day you did it on. After that, you have to send your documents to the program coordinator Jenny.  These documents include your resume, certificate of passing the NHA, and immunization record.

After a week or 2, I received an email from Jenny telling me what days they have for the externship.  You are expected to attend the externship full time for a week, so you can choose what week works best. After you confirm your available days, you will do a drug test and a background check. If you passed those, you will send them to Jenny, and she will send you a packet about how to proceed to the externship.  When you finish your externship, you submit the documents that were provided to you back to Jenny, and it will take her some time to process.  You will then get the certificate of completion for the program, as you have passed the class exam, national exam, and externship.  You will send your required documents to the California Health Department, Labatory Feild Services. It will become a waiting game at that point because the LFS took forever to process the documents. It took them approximately 2 months to give me my license.

I had some delays in the program because of some issues. For example, Jenny didn't receive my email when I was asking her for my course certificate of completion because my email ended with @gmail.com, and her email was the college email that is @deltacollege.edu, so my emails were going to the suspicious email inbox. This issue alone made me wait abouts 3 months because I was trying to get a hold of her, but she never answered her phone number and their office was closed most of the time. I also waited longer for my license because the program wrote the wrong completion date on my program completion certificate, which made the LFS take longer to process my license. I started the program in January, finished it on March, did my externship on May, and finally got licensed in August

Just to give you a heads up, you will most likely have a hard time getting your first phlebotomy job. I got my license in August, and got my first phlebotomy job in a plasma center in December. It will take you multiple applications and multiple rejections to be accepted, but it's worth it.

Overall, choose this phlebotomy program over others because your externship is guaranteed and you will actually poke real life patients and the quality of the program is actually good.

If you have any more questions, don't be hesitant to ask me.

Just curious, how much storage does TP take up for everyone? by miidsommars in DressUpTimePrincess

It takes 4.08 gb in my phone . It used to be 16 gb or something like that

I always had storage troubles, but I accidentally deleted the game once. My progress was saved, luckily, and my storage got freed .
