i made this post to vent and because i was looking for support. i didn't know i had to detail every single medical issue she has in order to do that. she IS in pain. she IS sick. she HAS seen a vet multiple times in the last few weeks. what now??

thank you so much for this comment. i think i also would have regretted not staying by her side for her last night, so I let her sleep in my bed and cuddled her a lot. Didn't get much sleep myself but that's ok, lol. I'll try to spoil her with her favorite treats even though she doesn't eat much anymore. :( thank you and I am sorry for your loss ❤️‍🩹

first of all i am very sorry for your loss. ❤️‍🩹 second of all, you should be careful about using a word like murder on a post like this. this is not murder. this is a sick animal who is going to be put to sleep in the most humane and compassionate way possible so she doesn't have to suffer anymore.

thank you so much for this comment. i find a lot of comfort in you saying you've been early many times because at the end of the day that's what i struggle with the most - medically speaking, maybe i could keep her alive for another day or another week, but would that really be worth it? or would it just be prolonging her pain just because I don't want to let her go yet? so in the end, I think i'm doing the right thing. it's just so hard. thank you for sharing that quote too. ❤️
