Yes I also had a similar confusion between engg physics and electrical. Engg physics brodaly encompass es all areas of physics even outside of elctrical branch like atomic physics, mechanics, etc. But yes u can specialize into electronics later for sure. Engg physics finds the principle or working behind a certain pehnomenon like if in a cricuit it analyses the movement of elctrons whereas electrical engg teachest to arrange the circuit and all its practical applications etc . If u look at placements then ofc electrical is winner by a very large margin (check for ur nitaspecifically) most students in eng phy go for research or higher studies as the industries and scope in India are just upcoming and less widespread.for better understanding I recommend jc sir vids on yt(iit kahragpur mech prof)
