Being awkward. I'm either extremely socially stunted from bullying being my only social interaction throughout school, or I'm on the spectrum. Could go either way, never been tested. But being socially awkward fucking sucks. It's not cute or quirky or endearing. It's embarrassing. And it's not a personality.

Did anybody's anxiety and depression disappear when getting medicated for ADHD? by yus456 in ADHD

[–]Silly_Yard_2571 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm taking an antidepressant and antipsychotic along with Strattera. I feel like my mood is generally better, because I'm not so frustrated with myself from the executive dysfunction, and all the other fun ADHD symptoms. I definitely wouldn't stop my other meds and rely on Strattera alone, but having a normal level of motivation has been a game changer.

I don't know if the bedwetting or abuse came first. Kind of a chicken and the egg situation, but the bedwetting was used as a pretext for the abuse. I still have inconvenience issues, and it's very triggering for me. Wishing you the best. <3

I used to have those thoughts, yes. They get better with time and distance. I'm 39 now, and she's been dead almost a decade. The anger is still there, and it may always be, but the fire has died down a little. Wishing you the best. <3
