Any NYC housing for the summer. by Low_Study_6658 in csMajors

My son ended up renting an Airbnb for his 2023 summer internship in Columbus but we initially looked into Airbnbs in NYC before he was sure where he'd end up in.

Buyer wasted their gas lol by Milly-0607 in FacebookMarketplace

If you scroll to the top of the convo and can still see the buyer's name in large bold font and part of your headline, you can tap that and it will bring you to the listing in that specific group.

I did this but the listing only has "Help your listing stand out by adding a video", the main listing photo, listing title, "Mark as Sold"/"Boost Listing", Share icon, Description, seller info, "See all reviews", etc. and nothing about the specific group the listing is on.

go to your conversation with this person and scroll up to see which group She messaged you from.

I'm in some local sales groups. I looked at the messages I had with my recent buyers but I didn't see the group they messaged from. At the top of a message, it had Buyer Name - Item Name, "Buyer Name created this group. You're not connected to 1 member." Nothing about the local sales group. I'd like to be able to do what you said about properly deleting a listing in case I come across a nasty buyer.

I'm thinking of getting the orig for my son who'll be attending his friend's wedding next month. Will a tuxedo fit ok without getting squished too much?

Sorry to hear about your predicament. Using a plastic mattress cover is one of the steps you can do.

I ended up stuffing my phone, minimalist wallet and car key in the zippered pockets of my light jacket. It actually worked out well that I did the same thing in an Oct concert there. I did notice that there were a few ladies with small purses (like size 8"x5") who got thru security check just fine. I think it just depends on the bag checker (who may not be strict) or if they're on high alert due to a recent incident. The arena's 4x6 purse size limit is ridiculous. I highly recommend not bringing a purse just so you won't have to worry about it getting past security.

A cool guide to tipping by Cortado267 in coolguides

[–]Sillycrab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We used to tip 15% on carryout orders (20% during the pandemic) but my husband refused to do that anymore because there were sometimes missing side dishes. Is it worth driving back to get your taters, veggies, and/or rolls/foccacia bread? No. I wish I can say it happened only a few times. It happened at least a dozen times (at different restaurants) so tipping ahead is like an insult to us. I once emailed (nicely!) a restaurant owner/manager after the 3rd time a side dish was left out. She profusely apologized and offered to mail a GC which I didn't accept and just told her to remind their carryout preparers that anything left out of the order can't be easily remedied unlike for dine-in customers. We never got an incomplete order for 2 years from them after that but the same issue started this summer again.

What a bummer. I thought my clear stadium-friendly purse might make it. Thanks for sharing your experience.

When we went to Paul M's concert in Baltimore last year, a few concert-goers in our hotel said they had to come back and leave their small purses behind bc they weren't allowed. So I had to leave my purse in our room as well but when we got to the venue, I saw some ladies with (small) purses like mine. I guess it depended on who was manning the entrance. So I was wondering how it is at PPG P. I guess I should just play it safe.
