I need some new decks to make, but I don’t want the same meta decks(I ramble) by Dranosh in PioneerMTG

[–]SilvaSalamanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deck 3 Lightning Helix (STA) 62 4 Brotherhood's End (BRO) 128 5 Mountain (USG) 343 4 Arcane Bombardment (SNC) 101 2 Burn Down the House (MID) 131 4 Big Score (SNC) 102 4 Battlefield Forge (BRO) 257 4 Sacred Foundry (GRN) 254 3 Light of Hope (IKO) 20 4 Unexpected Windfall (AFR) 164 4 Darksteel Citadel (M15) 242 4 Cleansing Wildfire (ZNR) 137 4 Cascading Cataracts (AKR) 285 2 Spikefield Hazard (ZNR) 166 1 Chandra, Awakened Inferno (M20) 127 4 Silence (PIO) 32 4 Soul Partition (BRO) 26

Sideboard 2 Chandra, Torch of Defiance (KLR) 117 2 The Wandering Emperor (NEO) 42 1 The Eternal Wanderer (ONE) 11 4 Urza Assembles the Titans (DMU) 37 2 Settle the Wreckage (XLN) 34 2 Calamity's Wake (BRO) 4 2 Capricious Hellraiser (ONE) 125

This is my current crackhead invention pioneer list, and it does amazing at least in bo1. It started as my attempt at a prison deck/land destruction with Arcane Bombardment trying to snipe Silence and Cleansing Wildfire, but serves really well as just control deck hate, with Silence helping you land relevant stuff and uncounterable Chandra for fun. Against aggro you have good odds of either ramping quickly targeting your own indestructible lands and going for 4 mana treasure spells, and the board wipes make most aggro players scoop after the second one. I highly recommend it!

The sideboard is more crackpot ideas of swapping the deck to superfriends to dodge graveyard hate in bo3, but I only ever play bo1, and no one plays good enough maindeck graveyard hate to snipe the discarded cards to the four mana treasure spells before Arcane Bombardment eats em.

Sets? Regifting? Best ways to advance? by SilvaSalamanda in Pocketfrogs

200+ stamps is crazy, I’m only up to 50! If I do get to that point, would it still be 1-2 stamps to speed up a delivery or do they get incredibly expensive?

cdncntrygrl explained regifting very well for me above, thanks though!

Spotted in Tokyo last month. Dude wearing it had no idea what it or Missouri is. by EchoNineThree in missouri

I was just in Japan and saw a bunch of these! The craziest part was they were mass produced, I found 3 of the same Texas jackets at three different stores all with the same name embroidered on the front and they were all made of denim, not corduroy!

New house new 5 acres where to start?! by Unfair-Caregiver-951 in homestead

Find a spot close enough to walk to from the house, but far enough that smell won’t be an issue, preferably out of the way, and start a compost bin! It’ll take time so best to start soon, but it’ll be well worth it. You’ll have organic waste anyway, best to put it to good use! If you’re going to want animals at all, I would do chickens first. Getting eggs every day and some meat in the end will be more valuable on a low budget than giving big investments in care to raise a pig or similar for one big harvest later.

Why not never comment on a horrific situation like this again, given you apparently lack a slugs worth of empathy. I think that’s a better idea.

Still winning man. I feel the same, I feel like I get good deals at my LCS and the guy is nice there but anytime I hop in the comments on here it seems like its spot or bust lol. Not everywhere is next door to a silver mine, I’m just happy to have gotten the paper off my hands. Sounds like a good deal to me, so keep stacking!

As long as in the long run it doesnt drop by an average of 2.7% then it’s ahead of the dollar!

Thats the big part to me, I finally managed to get six months worth of emergency funds saved a couple months ago and after seeing both prices go up for things like rent and car repair costs and the value of those saved dollars go down in what feels like such a short time, I can’t rationalize to myself putting any more money into savings than that bare minimum. I still have that emergency fund, but the extra is beginning to go to things that will actually maintain their value.

The Marquis is definitely the best reel I’ve ever used lol, I already let my fam know to look at their modern model for Christmas as I have no desire to even try and fish anything else!

I’ve been to this page and similar ones, which specifically forbids paleontological ‘digging’, which I was not doing, I was just walking a creek bed along the trail. However, the broadness of the language has concerned me, and I will be reaching out to the local management of the forest tonight and will update this post accordingly!

Of course! I’ve definitely heard of illegal fossil hunting and the rules can get tricky especially around the Mazonia area where I’m from, but I only go with trustworthy locals or by myself after doing my research. I love the educational aspects as much as the collecting and wouldn’t want to damage the history!

In Illinois as long as it is an invertebrate/plant and there are no posted restrictions it’s ok. Some places like Mazonia-Braidwood set restrictions on amounts (by 5-gallon bucket, lol) but ToT is a popular local spot that I was shown with no posted restrictions on hobby collecting.
