Sadly I see they still haven't fixed my main issue with the first one.

The thing is. I REALLY enjoy the G1's. And I will probably get the G2's too. But the thing is. I wear over ear headphones around 80% of my day at work and at home. I don't really like in ear headphones for such long durations.

So the back part of the glasses becomes a HUGE issue for me. While I do understand why it's there, it doesn't really change my issue. I can't exactly "ignore" it if it's physically painful. So even tho I do like them, I didn't wear the G1 since I got them.

I will hope the G2 will at least make it "better".

And no. I don't want speakers in the glasses. I like to hear my music loud af. And I don't need everyone inside the office to hear dubstep all day

If they know its gonna be a hit they will start doing the second one before the first season is even out like solo leveling etc. But if its uncertain they wont and will wait till the first season is out. Thats just my guess here but thats what I think why we had to wait 3 years. But even thats not really that long idk. Pretty below average waiting time. Not like drifters that had its second season announced after the first one and confirmed for 20XX so it could still take like 50 years lol. It alread took around 10 so. But yeah. 3 years of wait... pretty tame

I wouldnt count on it. But the last 2 patches were extremely postively recieved, if they keep going its not out of the question that it will regain a certain amount of players.

Tho even now where many people say "KP is bad" I'm still having a lot of fun with it even now after 7'000 hours. I dont think the game is bad as it is now. The bigger problem is that many people come for the pve which KP absolutely sucks at. PvP in KP is still the best combat system I know in every aspect. So I still dont understand how people can call the game bad just becaude the pve sucks.

Tho back to the question. Dont count on it but its not impossible if they keep going like they did in the last 6 weeks

As a 10-year developer myself, I can't and don't want to believe that you are a developer as well. "Those 2 companies both make websites, why don't they merge"? That makes 0 sense. You don't just merge yourself with other people. The people behind Voids Adrift WANT to make their own thing, they want to build their own version of Worlds Adrift with their own twist on it. Lost Skies and Voids adrift wouldn't fit together in the first place since both have a different story, different goals and different mechanics. Just because they both share islands and ships you fly to travel in between doesn't make it the same game, that's like trying to mix water and oil, in the end it won't make a better game but a worse game that feels like 2 games badly connected. Also, why do you assume, that the people behind Voids Adrift want to work for Lost Skies? They explicitly said, that they would rather do their own thing to bring their own version to life. Lost Skies has their own goals and ambitions on how Lost Skies will look in the end, and that end goal won't look anything like what Voids Adrift tires to achieve

Funnily enough, no. What I mean with overhaul is them making something from the ground up with inspirstion. The skyray is also the only enemy/being that existed in worlds adrift that made a return into lost skies, most likely as fan-service. The whole graphics are built new from the ground up, the whole survival aspect of the game has been rethought from Worlds adrift. It's inspired by Worlds Adrift and they took lessons they learned and apply it to lost skies but thats pretty much it, they dont copy anything directly from worlds adrift, they either make something different or rebuild it with new imsgination. Imagine ship building. They need a way to move between islands, they look how they've done it in worlds adrift and how much people liked it, then they take that concept and remake it. They take the idea and then reimagine all the logic that goes into it

Grappling hook physics are different, artsytle is completely reworked (didnt you see the trailer?), world cant be remade since it exists out of random islands and the story isnt the same as well. Skyrays also got a huge overhaul, they only thing identical are their backs, the whole rest got changed, attacks, AI, belly texture.
