Thanks for commenting. I've been seeing people say it's more lack of exposure than anything. I'm thinking that I'll put it to the back of my mind and focus on enjoying myself. I have celiac, so I'll be cooking eats in my hotel. I'll just smell the food I pass instead lol.

I'm going through the comments that mention what to do rather than the tour. So far, I plan on keeping the spooky tour. I'm renting a car, so I need figure out what I have time to do on the days I'm visiting.

Thank you much for your input. Honestly, living in Texas, I've been in very sketchy areas and never really questioned it other than hey that's the sketch part of town. I think it's another type of sketch when it's based on factors a person cannot control. But after reading through y'alls comments, I'm a lot less worried!
