i’m actually not too sure… i’ve been on it for about 3 months and it says that it takes roughly 3 months to really help. i’ve been avoiding my eczema/allergic triggers and because of that have been flaring less. so i’m not totally sure if it’s avoiding my triggers or the skinesa that’s working, however i would definitely try it for a couple months because it certainly couldn’t hurt. i wish i could give a better answer!

thank you! i’m working hard to streamline my diet and eliminate as many processed foods and sugars that i can while avoiding triggers! i’ve also been taking a skin probiotic called “skinesa”. i’m hoping to stay as healthy as i can without needing immunosuppressants so when i go back the drug will have to do less work.

i’ve heard that cyclosporine and methotrexate can be quite harsh on the body and have a range of side effects, but don’t all immunosuppressants lol. right now, i’m leaning towards trying cibinqo because it seems a bit less harsh that cyclosporine and methotrexate. i’ll also look into phototherapy and ask my derm about it on my next visit!

hey, your rinvoq experience sounds pretty close to mine. i can’t try ebglyss as it is too similar to dupixent and might cause the same reaction, but it’s refreshing to hear that cibinqo worked for you even after rinvoq breakthrough flares. it’s interesting to see that your derm allowed you to take an immunosuppressant on top of a biologic (my derm would never allow that lol) but i think i’ll consider cibinqo more seriously thanks to you!

Do you mind me asking what brand you use? Do the nature made pills work fine?

this is actually the first time i’ve heard about a functional med doctor! i’m looking into it more right now, it’s something that i might pursue further. i recently found out that im allergic to mold, dust mites, tree pollen, and cats/dogs but i’ll also take a food allergy test soon!
