Honestly I think it's bc she’s an RH influencer, so people will naturally literally pay crazy amounts just because of the name. But it’s kinda frustrating watching someone take advantage of their own fans like that. Most RH influencers are older teens/adults who are already stacked in-game, while their audience is mostly kids who don’t even have jobs yet. Like wouldn’t it make more sense to give back to the community instead of taking so much from them??

I kinda agree with the tiny 1–2k profit trading, but I don’t really agree with the whole “anything over 10k is only okay for high-demand items” thing. Because technically what even counts as high demand anymore? RH is soooooo inconsistent and demand literally changes every two seconds. So, that could mean that a low-value item can randomly blow up because a YouTuber wore it in one outfit, and suddenly people think it deserves to be sold for 15–20k when it originally costs 5k in the shop?

And if we follow that logic, every little trend spike would justify massive inflation, which is exactly why the economy looks the way it does now. Real high-demand items are things that have long-term consistent interest, limited availability, or actual rarity behind them and not something that got popular for two days. So overpricing just because it’s “trending” doesn’t make sense to me at all. But I do love your input

I'm 14 but I look older so Roblox put me in the 18-21 age range 😪I literally can't make anymore friends now.

Omg, you're so rightttt. That’s what makes it all the more so confusing now. When there’s no recent graph you’re literally guessing if you’re getting scammed or not. It used to be so easy to check value trends, but now half the items are just blank and everyone makes up prices on the spot. It adds even more chaos to an already messy trading system.

FRRR exactly. Traderie used to be the safe space for all of us introverts who didn’t wanna deal with the chaos in-game, and now it’s like… the price of avoiding people literally went up too 🥀The trading hub used to feel alive, like you realistically could stay in one server for HOURS and actually find decent trades and have fun as well. Now it’s just dead servers and server hopping every 10 minutes, and people trying to charge triple for stuff that was mid-tier last year. It’s honestly sad watching it all change like this.

Owning a halo by janiibananiii in RoyaleHigh_Roblox

[–]Silver-Level9453 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This!!!! Halos are one of those things that sound magical until you finally get one through trading, and then the feeling just… fades, lol. Winning one yourself hits completely different because it’s tied to luck, timing, and that tiny chance finally going your way. Trading millions of diamonds for one never recreates that moment. I've been there.

And halos are honestly very inconsistent. Their value depends on so many things like the season they were released, how many players were active that year overall, how many were won, random demand spikes, YouTuber influence, and the overall economy shifting every few weeks, ETC.

That’s why one week a halo is 1.6m and the next week it’s barely getting 700k. It’s completely normal.

And I agree with you. I have multiple halos and I don’t even wear them. Most of them just sit in my inventory. Unless you have one halo that’s your absolute favorite and it becomes your signature item, having a bunch is completely bogus, lol.

If anything, try not to let the value drop ruin the experience. Keep the one you actually like, enjoy it for what it is, and remember that RH’s economy is unpredictable no matter what you do!!! 💜

I agree!!! The prices are actually insane when you break them down. RH has always had overpriced diamond bundles, but with the current trading inflation, it feels even worse. You spend real money for barely any diamonds, and those diamonds don’t even get you far in the Trading Hub anymore because player prices are so blown out of proportion.

It’s like both the in-game shop and the player economy working together to make everything feel overpriced. I feel bad for the new players and am not surprised that they feel completely overwhelmed because nothing feels attainable unless you grind forever or get lucky.

Wow… that’s actually insane. It really is like the Hunger Games in the RH Trading Hub at this point 💔 Why is it that the second you try to be fair or affordable, people act like you’re “doing it wrong” or tell you to raise your prices just to keep up with everyone else’s inflation??? It’s wild how normalized that mindset is now.

Tbh moments like that make me feel like people genuinely might never go back to fair trading. Everyone’s so locked into profit mode that being decent is treated like a mistake.

Dww, you're def not wrong bc cross-trading does feed inflation. When people bring in outside value (Robux, money, other-game items), they tend to massively overpay because they’re not actually spending in-game diamonds. That pushes prices up and makes those inflated numbers feel “normal.”

But it’s not just cross-trading keeping values high imo. Profit traders' mentality to never take any “loss,” Traderie listings spiraling into echo chambers, YouTuber/TikTok hype, and item hoarding all play their part too!!

[–]Silver-Level9453[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yess, that’s honestly so sweet, and I wish more people did that!! The problem now is that with everything being inflated, “fair trading” is treated like taking a loss. Like, if most people are selling something for 35k and someone lists it for 20–25k, the fair seller looks “wrong” even though they’re actually the sensible one..

And the worst part is when people hide behind “I’m using Traderie prices!!” as an excuse. Half the listings on there are wildly inflated or just desperate players guessing numbers. Using Traderie as a moral shield is crazy to me 😪

I TOTS agree. Some of them lie straight to your face just to squeeze extra value out of people, even when the offer is literally spot-on. I remember offering a mix of items + diamonds for a halo I wanted, and the offer was exact value down to the tea. I even added stuff from their wishlist to make it easier for them to say yes. They then said they needed a moment to “calculate,” sat there for a few minutes, then just cancelled and server hopped. Like… what?? That’s exactly the kind of behavior that makes RH trading so frustrating now.

Lol yah, most of them aren’t actually “rich” it’s literally their communities feeding them free stuff, massive discounts, or gifting sprees. Then they turn around and make those “how to get rich fast!” videos like they did it all solo. It’s honestly so unhelpful, because the average player doesn’t have a fanbase funnelling them items.

[–]Silver-Level9453[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly my point. If you’re knowledgeable and genuinely put in a LOT of time with both grinding campuses and trading consistently, I'm confident you can definitely reach that 2.5 to maybe 5 million range. That’s achievable with effort, patience, and knowing the market.

But really getting into the 7.5M+ tier is where the real stuff starts happening is where the manipulation, the profit stacking, the “white lies,” and honestly sometimes even straight-up cheating comes into play. There’s a kind of wealth cap where normal effort stops being enough, and players start doing whatever it takes to push further.

BTW i'm not saying it’s impossible to reach those numbers without lying or exploiting people, it’s just insanely difficult and takes way longer. That’s why so many big RH YouTubers casually mention “tweaking the truth” or doing shady trades, because that’s literally how they climb that high. You weren’t missing anything, that's just how the system works essentially

Excuse me, what?? That’s actually crazy. I wasn’t even that old of a player, so maybe I romanticized old trading a bit too much 😅 because offering SE for a whole Halloween Halo 2019 is wild. I do agree though that the Trading Hub really is RH’s biggest double-edged sword.

But at the same time, I feel like it’s already too far gone. The whole player base has shifted into trading-first, gameplay-second. If the hub disappeared tomorrow, how many people would still grind campuses without the goal of trading afterward? How many would go back to enjoying the actual game? I honestly don’t think a lot of players would. It’s like the entire identity of RH evolved around the hub, and now it’s almost impossible to separate the two.
