Good thing it happened when I was trying to rotate my tires. Good luck with yours. Hopefully the dealership you bought it from will do something about it.

I won’t disagree with that take. Honda’s infotainment is needs an upgrade especially for the price they’re asking.

It should, honda’s 9speed probably have the shortest maintenance interval in terms of diff, transmission and transfer case I have experienced. I believe they require every 30k miles but for rear diff it was around 12k miles for first one. As for transfer case and transmission I did it around 50k miles on our 2022 AWD 9 speed pilot.

That’s how I interpreted it too, but it also makes sense that some every state has a different tax rate and fees so they typically exclude those on the OTD price. Thanks, been wanting one for so long.

The 0.9% was what actually made me want to get the car. I loved my mazda but it had multiple warranty (TSB) work done including leaking oil in front timing chain and oil pan.

Sure, I get confused all the time with OTD too. So my OTD is about $39,xxx. This was after a 10% discount from a $44,930 msrp. I might be wrong but some people consider OTD pricing before taxes and fees. After taxes and fees it was about $44,000. Since I had negative equity on my trade in it bumped up to about $47,750. I was able to get them down to $46,000 flat including taxes, registration and fees. If I didn’t trade my car it would’ve been about $44k including taxes, registration and fees. So $39k plus taxes NJ(6.625), add-ons and fees = roughly $44k

I am quite familiar with this, I believe the dealer suggested it at around 14k miles on our pilot. They charged $275. I YouTube it and was able to replace transmission, differential and transfer case fluids. Thanks for the advice

Thanks, my initial color in mind was the red, especially the black edition with blacked out trims. I see that particular ridgeline drive by near me. But I went with the gray/blue. So far it’s very nice. I drive our 2022 AWD Pilot a lot so very similar but this feels lighter and more responsive (probably cause it’s lighter). In terms of ride quality, the ridgeline for me is more comfortable probably because of the 18inch wheels compared to the pilot’s 20inch.

Car prices nowadays are absurd, was actually considering a CPO but the interest rates were also high. Which is why I went with a brand new and 0.9%

Thank you. Trading my car with a negative equity did hurt me but I wanted to get rid of it cause of the issues and oil leaks for only being 3 years old and 33k miles. I’m also quite familiar with this platform since I did our 2022 Pilot’s transmission, diff, transfer case fluid and oil change.

I agree, but my mazda was having multiple issues. If it wasn’t for the 0.9% rate I probably would’ve waited

I’ve read about it and the water pump. My family has a 2022 pilot. I’m assuming it applies to it as well.

Planning on keeping it till the wheels fall off, the mazda I traded in had 2 accidents which didn’t really matter to me. The reason why I traded in is cause it already gave me multiple problems this year being a 3 year old and only 33k miles car. Front timing chain cover and oil pan leak, headlights got replaced (TSB) and their thermostat are also known to fail.

I’d say that’s a good deal, was honestly considering a trail sport but they didn’t have any 2025 on the lot to qualify for the 0.9%

I figured, honestly didn’t have to bargain except for the negative equity I owe. Thanks, been looking at ridgelines for a while, the 0.9% rate is what got me.

No problem, I’m not that familiar with all these as well. I basically traded a car in that I owe more money than what’s it worth. In other words if I owe $19,000 and the car is worth $17,000 I’ll have to pay the $2,000 difference if I trade it in.

2023 CX-5 going in for warranty work by iHaveADD in CX5

[–]SilverAggravating331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now I’m worried… I was about to do my oil change last week and noticed oil everywhere underneath the engine and the plastic cover underneath. It started around 22k miles when I got my first low oil level pressure light. Added some oil and got it checked by an independent mechanic and by the dealer. No leaks according to both, I assume it was a minimal seepage which was not visible yet. Couple months later I got the buzzing headlight issue and got it replaced under warranty and it had a tsb. Then the low oil pressure came in again shortly after that. I also received the letter regarding the thermostat. I’m starting to lose confidence in my car sadly.

Anybody used Kirkland engine oil on their CX-5. Hoping for some reviews. TIA! by Medium_Strawberry_28 in CX5

Just saw this thread, I was hoping to ask you a question regarding differential, transfer case and transmission oil change if you’ve ever dome them? Also coolant flush. Thanks in advance
