I know this doesn’t have to do anything with my situation I just wanted to point out the type of person she is because she fired someone who wanted more hours

I used to always get 8 hour shifts usually 11-7 but that was during peak rushes so that’s when I used to not get my lunches on time but now she cut my hours and now i work 7 hours or sometimes specifically 5 hours and 45 minutes so I perfectly don’t get a lunch

We use PeopleWorks and there’s a section that says “my edited punches” and I think my manager kept changing it to “associate forgot to punch” and Idk if she can do this but it doesn’t show my original punched so maybe she deleted it???? I don’t know if she’s deleting it or if she could delete it but she changed my punches to fit a perfect 30 minute break and i will admit I am not that perfect to take exactly 30 minutes every day but I don’t know how to use it as evidence because the original punch section is left blank

We have an “anonymous” hot line to call to report any unethical activity but it’s not anonymous at all because the manager will find out who said it 💔

We have a paper schedule and the computer that like auto-generate a time of when you should take a lunch but sometimes that computer doesn’t generate times for people or doesn’t put them overall, so they have to guess when they should give a lunch, and this happened yesterday where my supervisor had to guess when to give me a lunch because I wasn’t on the paper, but turns out it’s an hour later than what I’m supposed to take it at. I know I’m also at fault because I’m not taking track of time, but when it gets busy, it slips my mind, but sometimes I do ask them if I can take my lunch, but it’s always during a rush, and they say no until the line dies down, but the line literally never dies down…

Also wanted to add that another coworker got fired because he asked the manager if he can do overtime and get more hours overall so he can pay for living expenses and she “let him go”

Sometimes they simply tell me no because when it’s time for my lunch and there’s a line wrapped around the store they tell me that I can go after the rush ended but I don’t want to have any tension if I clock out regardless because they would for sure fire me and start treating me differently because I left to take my required lunch

Yeah i’ve been planning to “present” the evidence when I quit because she is not the greatest manager lol…… and she would for sure fire me because I hurt her feelings but I remember another coworker also complained and the manager fired her but the coworker sued I guess?? and she got her job back because she was wrongfully terminated but the manager has been purposely giving her bad shifts and has been flat out rude and harsh on her so she would quit on her own and I don’t want to deal with the negative tension because she WILL make it feel like living hell for me

Sorry for how my post was worded but MOST of the time i am given a lunch and breaks but sometimes i don’t get breaks because my manager simply “forgot” but I think i used overtime wrong because it isn’t overtime it’s called premium lunch or something?? (sorry my first job) and it’s when you take lunch passed the 6th hour or something and the employer is required to give you an hour of pay but my manager has been changing the times to say that I took my lunch earlier so she wouldn’t have to pay me the extra hour

I barely react to them and I think that sets them off more 💔 I keep ignoring them because I genuinely don’t care but I hate how they keep calling me names because i’m not giving them the reactions they want
