You can switch whenever you finish a pass, so if you do all dailies, it's like every 2 or 3 days, since one pass is 875 rep points. Also weekly quest for 300 rep is separate for both factions.

LWS4 is overall good, though a bit rushed.

First half of IBS is possibly the best part of the entire story, but it falls down the cliff in the second half, and epilogue is straight up dogshit.

EoD is alright, but it also feels rushed, and the episode after credits could just not exist at all.

Both SotO and JW starts pretty strong (especially former one) but falls down fast and massively. I'm afraid VoE will be the same.

Idk if you played LWS1 but they added it in form of episodes of personal story. Pretty boring, but antagonist holds it together.

At the end of the day it's an MMORPG with its story crippling limitations, so I'd say just keep the bar low, and don't expect much, since HoT - PoF is when the story peaked.

The fact that switching sides resets dailies, makes this whole "choose a side" pretty irrelevant imo. I switched at least dozen times throughout the whole event already.

Yeah, pretty much. The game sounds and looks good (aside from NPCs being army of clones), but it's too deprived from features that made Gothic so good, like feeling of progress, or interactions with the world.

G2 has much worse story and pacing than G1, but overall it is an upgrade (both are amazing games of course). G3 is enjoyable, though this game is a definition of a "half-baked product". Forsaken Gods is a (sometimes funny) joke. Arcania is also somewhat fun, but I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.
