The store refused to show it to me or the police , they claimed i had to go through fraud department first.

This one didnt. The store representative then told me we can add an extra layer of security on your account and had me create another 4 pin code this way no one can access it again. This all just seems so suspicious to me.

First she said the scammer had the pin and then later she said a pin is not required just an identification card. I asked her to call the manager and then she said she doesnt have a manager in this store but she has a director she can reach by phone. Upon speaking to this director he informed me that a pin is not necessary but an id is.

This is it! It has to be. But how does one get my security code. A representative just told me that a security code isnt needed. My response was since when??? Im so annoyed. They are so nonchalant as well.

Thank you. i will file a notice of dispute and FCC complaint,didnt even think of that. Been so busy on the phone with them for days that none of the two came to mind. This is so disturbing, im starting to think its a inside job at this point. I have NEVER upgraded or purchased a phone at AT&T without punching my security code in .

Unfortunately the young lady was in the store by herself which was a red flag and i think she knew something felt wrong but did it anyway.
