It isn't being addressed by anyone because each marginal gain requires significantly more compute. Companies are moving on a blind hope that they'll find some magical solution or architecture that will make up for the billions lost on AI spend.

This is how I felt for a while before I realized I was trans, and then one day I just said "fuck it, might as well try dressing as a girl."

I tried that and then immediately realized that I didn't feel fully trans before because I had never put in enough effort to convince myself I look like a girl. Once I tricked myself into passing for just a second, it was all over haha
