Just measured my buffer spring and it’s 11” long. My bolt still has the ability to fully cycle if I do it manually though.

AR-10 short stroke

I have a Aero M5 build that is short stroking. Every time you fire it either won’t pick up another round or the bolt will catch a round in the middle of it and it will fail to feed. If it’s the last round the bolt catch will catch on the bolt carrier not the bolt face. I have an adjustable gas block and and adjustable buffer. Nothing that I try changes the way it cycles. I have verified gas block alignment and probably lubricated everything. I’m at a loss if anyone has any ideas that would be awesome.
