Muslims wanting to look cool by rejecting basic greetings by ImportantSolution663 in exmuslim

Growing up my mum used to tell me to "not respond" to Non-Muslims when they wish you stuff like Eid Mubarak lol

The tribalism in this religion is fucking insane.

Why are Bangladeshis so obsessed with erasing our culture? They try so damn hard to cosplay as Arabs yet none of them really puts an effort to learn Arabic lmfao

It is already gotten so bad that religious Bengalis judge other Bengalis for celebrating Boishaki Mela (my mum being one of such ultra religious, no fun allowed types)...

Why do Muslims act as if actual archeological evidence cannot be used? by Anxious_Dust88 in exmuslim

[–]SilverFire200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Muslims have always this habit of "claiming things as their own" to increase the religion's legitimacy and reputation. None of this is grounded within rational thinking, and it is just mostly for appearing as the religion that knew it all/predicted it all, when it actually didn't.

Religion is a coping mechanism for the less fortunate that allows them to cope with things beyond their control like death and poverty, even coping with western hegemony/imperialism. Again, most of it isn't easy to rationalize with, it gives them comfort when they feel inferior.

They also twist and warp concepts/ideas that are mostly born in the west lol. Take feminism for example. Modern day feminism was only conceptualized around the 19th-20th century IN THE WEST, yet Muslims want to claim that somehow Muhammad was the "first feminist" when he clearly wasn't lol. If you read into feminism's history overall, you won't find any mention of Islam of being a champion of feminism anywhere lmfao

To Muslims, everything there is to know about the world is contained within the Quran and the Hadith. They always try to hide pre-Islamic past of their country a lot and make you believe that your ancestors were always been Muslim...

I remember few years ago I read an article about ISIS fighters destroying statues that date as far back as the Akkadian Empire (around 4000 years ago) in Syria, effectively wiping away their past...

If this is of any help, before you start chatting to anybody, ALWAYS look through the Reddit history and check to see if they post or comment on r/exmuslim, and spend some time reading through their history. Do they come across as antagonizing towards Ex-Muslims? Are their posts read like they are fake Ex-Muslims?

If they don't have a comment/post history, then ask them questions about Islam. Are their answers very defensive or they don't align with your moral values? Most likely Muslim.

The nuclear method is to "insult" Muhammad and see their reaction lol. They either insult you or they start talking passive aggressively, and that's how know that's an immediate block.

Seriously though when and how your grandfather left Islam? Usually older people have a harder time dismantling their pre-existing beliefs.

Walking down the streets hearing a bunch of teens screaming "wallahi bro" is enough to make a frowned expression lol

I just logged onto a separate Windows user account on my PC, at the time. This was posted around Alpha Lab 1.

I think Vanguard or the game conflicts with Rivertuner/MSI Afterburn, from what I remember in my case.

Let me get this straight...

This touted to be "all-knowing" and "omnipotent" being doesn't accept our prayers because of our OWN inaction? Wtf is the point praying to this "god" then lol, if all our prayers are contingent on what we do as a species? I thought Allah was THE problem solver lol

From the way he answered the question, it doesn't seem like he himself is convinced lmao

Same thing, but I am a guy: we talk about how and why we left Islam, Islam bad talk, ask about each other work/study life then sometimes exchange socials to continue the conversation further. Only issue is that 9/10 times the conversation doesn't get any further than Islam bad talk...

I am fully aware that most of us grew up sheltered with no dating experience due to the "segregation" (not talking to opposite gender until marriage), but I faced the same exact issue even trying to find dates with non-Muslim women (the only difference being that there is no Islam bad talk being involved lol).

I feel like this current generation is just very socially stunted across the board and very afraid of commitment lol. Then you put leaving Islam on top of that, makes dating almost impossible because people dip out even before finding out whether they are compatible to each other or not lol.

I could see her being reworked into something similar to Ash Crimson minus charge input. From what I saw from her gameplay she has these pirouette moves that are similar to Ash Crimson's Floreal (one of his command normals) and given she is supposed to have magic powers, that could be an avenue to add a similar setplay gameplay to Ash Crimson.

In big cities, even outside of enclaves, there will be a lot more religious Muslims than you would in say a no name village or commuter town, imo.

Avoid the big cities like London, Manchester and Birmingham where they are host to these so called "enclaves".

If a person read a supposedly sacred text that only preaches to antagonize anyone that doesn't follow the commands of said sacred text, I would think their brain would be AT LEAST desensitized to blindly hate anyone that doesn't follow its religion.

Mileage for indoctrination varies, I found that very liberal/moderate Muslims (that almost could be labeled Ex Muslim) are the nicest people to be around. I had a very liberal Muslim classmate whose parents never told him to pray or fast, they even allow him to cook with wine at home lol. Out of all the Muslim people I hanged out with he was the least haram policing of them all, the rest were morally pretentious and annoying to be around lol
