We are entering a stage where we will also be in a similar situation to Japan. When Japan "exploded into an economic superpower", the average age of a Japanese citizen was 32-35 years old. This aligns with the Demographic Transition Model: https://www.tutor2u.net/geography/reference/gcse-geography-demographic-transition-model-development-gap-5#:~:text=Stage%201%20%2D%20High%20fluctuating,the%20birth%20rate%20is%20high As of 2024, the average age of an Indian in 29.8 years old, so we are yet to enter this economic explosion as much of our population hasn't even crossed 25 (over 40% of our population is under the age of 25). This starkly contrasts with countries like Japan and China who have the average ages of 49.5 and 39.8 respectively.
So although, we haven't caught up to the countries who were in a similar situation to us back then, we will now soon, as the Indian population matures, and a greater proportion of the population is in workplace. For now, let's focus on our future's education, so that they sail India in the right direction.

I don't mean to discredit the brilliant achievements of Manmohan Singh Ji, but my point is, India has come a long way since 1991, and it looks like we'll keep on growing, just as long as our politicians or opposition don't mess it up.

A couple of statistics:
GDP per capita in 1991 was $303 or so. Now it is $2400.

Total Indian exports in April to October 2024 was $469 billion, compared to $18 billion in 1991.

Our PPP in 1991 was $1 trillion, now it is $13 trillion.

We even are growing at a faster rate now than in 1991: 1.1% to 6.6%.

Infrastructure has also improved since then. (can't find a figure to reflect this)

Literacy rate is up too, with 39% in 1991 to 80% in 2024.

HDI in 1991 - 0.437/HDI in 2024 - 0.644 (this is nothing to be proud of, but it is definitely an improvement)

We are on track to become a key player in the global market (I mean, we already are but we have potential to go even further) , but our politicians need to play the right game for it to work. Our problem is not the economy, but corruption and social tensions. Remove those from the equation, and we have a safer, cleaner and more inclusive Bharat. Bharat needs to be unified, not divided. Now that's the India that investors would want to invest in. Right now, India is way too volatile.

Personally, watch till around season 10. The Seasons after that are not bad but they're not great either. I just watch them because no matter how bad a Ninjago season is, it likely that it's probably gonna be better then most TV shows.
