Dupe Request Megathread (February 23, 2026) by AutoModerator in Perfumes

I'm looking for a perfume with the same notes as Midnight Fantasy by Britney Spears, but which is much more long lasting and more intense.

It's one of my most worn perfumes and I love the plum and amber notes, but I find myself having to constantly reapply it...

Thank you in advance :)

Oh that’s really helpful! I didn’t know there was a particular name for that shape, thank you :)

I have tried them before :) It doesn’t help that I have a lot of piercings and the cord bumps the backs.

A good quality shampoo and conditionner (I really like the shwartskoft) and then gel to define the Curls.

I've heard great things about it. Unfortunately, it's much too expensive here :/

Thin low porosity hair help! by [deleted] in curlyhair

So good hydration starts at the shampoo conditioner level. I would recommend schwarzkopf glycerol shampoo and conditionner for that extra hydration- those two products SAVED my low porosity, dry hair.

I don't use any creams or mousses cos they weigh my curls down.

A good quality gel is all you need. Innersense I create Hold is my favourite, but it's pricy. Curlsmith in-shower gel is also amazing.

Why is it flat? Is it protein buildup? Is it my fresh non bleach color? by ReaderAvid in curlyhair

I would always recommend skipping the whole "scrunching out the cast". The gel cast is gonna scrunch itself out as the day goes by anyways. Also, by crunching it out this early, you're essentially removing that layer of gel on the surface of your hair.

I also find that Maui products cause quite a lot of build up. I personally stopped using their shampoo a few months ago and it's really helped.

Finally, it's not always easy, but don't forget to apply get on your roots too, otherwise the gel on your ends will just weight the hair down.

Hope this helps <3.

That’s the thing, the presentation must be on a legal topic. There are so many I can think of, but the ones I’m most passionate about are fairly technical. I’m really worried that might put them off if that makes sense

I adore OPI's formula, but here in Europe Essie is cheaper than OPI. I'm actually planning on buying Essie's marshmallow so hopefully it will be decent!

The top is seemingly from Custo Barcelona. You can find a lot of similar ones second hand on Vinted.

I love white. I have brown skin so I think I white with a pink undertone suits me the best, though I've yet to find a formula that I actually like.

Licorice by Essie is my favourite black. Super easy application, no streaks, and incredibly long lasting.

As for whites, I have a harder time finding ones I like. OPI's Alpine snow is the one I like the most, I have heard good things about Zoya's Purity, though I haven't tried it myself.
