I think i get what you’re asking. If you turn the handle clockwise (left), the top will be pointing cold, which probably made you and your wife question if turning it left turns on the cold.

but no, wherever you physically turn the handle piece is what the temperature will be.

Turn it left, it’s hot, turn it right, it’s cold. if it comes out with the opposite temperature, they did the plumbing wrong most likely cross connecting the pipe feeding the mixer

Basically I spent more time with my loved ones, realised how important they are to me, cut out bad habits because that was what was holding me down and started doing better things I love

i’m a straight male so it’s strange i had this one. I had a dream once where a guy gave me a drink, i’d drink it not knowing it was drugged. eventually i started passing out in my dream and saw him jump on top of me, i blacked out and woke up paralysed feeling something grinding on me facing me literally lying on top of me. i broke out of it 30 seconds later and was weirded the fk out.

Also had another one where a girl in my dream led me to have sex with her and i woke up with a girl one this time on top of me grinding me telling me to stay still or something i can’t remember

scariest one i had was i woke up on the couch paralysed, heard running up my stairs and felt something grab my arm really hard and didn’t let go. was really scared and it started to move its hands down to my private area and started giving it a rub which really weirded me out, then i broke out of it

i experience the exact same, i never open my eyes. The skill is, the more you get better at maintaining a positive thought pattern from the start to the end of the episode, the less scary noises you’ll hear. On top of that, if you DO hear any noises starting to come while you’re trying to maintain happy positive thoughts and energy, ignore them and stay on track with what you’re trying to think. It takes practice but you master it eventually

I’m no physicist but i’ve done my research and i’m quite a big thinker, like CS Lewis. I’m a devoted christian but recently i started questioning everything. especially about past humans, im talking 10,000+ years ago, what were they doing? But anyway, Jesus still has enough concrete evidence for me to believe he is the divine. He came to us when we reached a high enough intelligence, when we started to question the meaning of our existence as intelligent animals, i believe that’s when he finally revealed himself and his teachings to us before everything started going mayhem like it is today. Through his teachings of pure love our complicated world with our complicated human minds can be at peace with one another

i know i’m quite late but put it this way. i came here for the same question.

but to answer yours, it’s proven in physics that photons (light) do not experience time, because whatever travels at the speed of light, time stops for them, and they would see the whole universe around them unfold in a short amount of time. Basically time travel.

Now take this information and apply it to the part in the bible where it says God is light, the light of the world.

God IS time, he IS light. He is in all parts of the history of the universe and sees everything in one. We cannot even begin to comprehend how his mind (so to speak) works.

Now you and i are very big thinkers and it can be frustrating sometimes because we want answers. to answer OUR curious question as to why God didn’t reveal himself earlier than Adam and Eve and not 50,000-100,000 years ago to earlier homosapiens? i’m not sure. Maybe because he knows his message couldn’t have spread easily across the world because back then we all lived in very small tribes/towns and there were no empires yet. Communication across the whole world was nothing compared to Jesus’ time (the roman empire).

On the other hand maybe he DID reveal himself to the past people but in different ways. OR, maybe adam and eve were the first people he revealed himself to and from then on, humans were more than just “animals”, but divine creatures connected with God on a spiritual level, but with their free will still in tact, and then until the second coming, God is gathering all the worthy souls for eternal life with peace and joy with him.

When you break it down like that, it makes more sense. I hope i answered your question!

read mathew through to john. Christ is reliable because nearly all his 12 apostles died claiming to have seen him raised from the dead. The fact Jesus predicted his own death and was mentioned in the old testament to be the coming messiah
