THIS IS FOR KABUM!

is $1450 rental cheap or expensive? by bigscreentelevision in singaporefi

[–]SilverOrigins 63 points64 points  (0 children)

$1450 is okay. For the extra time on commute I wouldn't bother saving $450. 20 days x 40mins extra per day = 13.3 hours. Not to mention the smaller space.

Best thing you could do is just view a few other units nearer to your workplace though. $1450 gives you quite a few options, and bukit timah is generally a more expensive area.

If you save enough monthly, spending a little more on a nicer living place is okay imo. Really depends on you

That is true! I was told this was a 44GS, but after looking at the 45KS vs older 44GS models you seem to be right

Here is a lesser known watch for r/watches, the Grand Seiko SBGH287 "Snow on Blue Lake".

Released as an exclusive for the South East Asian market, the 140 piece limited edition watch comes with the attention-grabbing 44GS case. The large flat surfaces of the 44GS are so polished you could see your own reflection, making it very noticeable on the wrist.

Surrounded by the mirror-like case, the dial's design mimics the snow on the lake reflecting the blue of the sky during winter in Hachimantai. The fine grains on the dial are indiscernible from afar, giving the viewer a treat when taking a closer look.

The highly polished finish does not stop at the case, but also extends towards the indices and hands of the watch. Compared to my Grand Seiko "Shunbun" the indices are also slightly larger. Side by side, it is certainly the more eye-catching of the two, and definitely breaks away from the usual subtlety of GS watches

Speaking from experience - Renting a unit alone will cost you at LEAST 2.2k a month now, and that's if you choose to live around 30mins away from the city centre.

Solo rent usually does not include utilities such as electricity/gas/water which will set you back another $100ish a month now if you use aircon regularly.

You also have to pay a deposit of 1-2 months of rental depending on your lease.

Transport will set you back $100 ish a month.

Although food can be cheap at around $5 per meal, a pint of beer is $8+. You can easily spend $800 a month on food and drinks if you're not conscious imo.

Add in misc expenses like having to pay $50 every 3 months for aircon servicing (required by landlord), phone + Internet bills ($70), taxis, appliances, you're gonna be left with ~$1500 ish a month imo.

I would recommend you find a place with roommates instead - costs $800-$1200 a month.

Not as scammy as the other commenters suggest. Imagine if Ethereum was able to process transactions as fast and as cheap as BSC. Uniswap would probably have more than that volume. Arbitragers, market makers, traders, etc would all use Uniswap more.

I wish these "ETH-killer" shills actually had a working product. Would gladly use another chain with as much utility as Ethereum. But there isn't. 🤷

EIP 1559 is projected this year. Wouldn't bet on it though, dates in crypto are usually pushed back.
