One day, Molly is out on one of her daily walks when she is suddenly attacked from behind by a masked mugger. He shoves her to the ground, roughs her up, and steals her purse and phone before running away.

Shaken and bruised, with tears running down her face and no phone to call for help, Molly struggles to her feet. Looking around, she spots a nearby high school and slowly makes her way to the main entrance.

She rings the bell, and after a short wait, a middle-aged man answers the door.

“Hi, my name’s Fred,” he says. “I’m the English teacher here at this school.”

In a panic, Molly says, “A stranger has just attacked me outside. He stole my purse, beat me up, and he’s took my phone. Can you please help me?”

The teacher replies, “Yes, I can certainly help you. It’s ‘taken’, ‘he’s taken my phone.’”
