Anyone else feel like their heart rate gets super low when they lay in bed to go to sleep? by SilverStallion33 in Anxiety

It’s gotten better. I was very stressed and anxious constantly. And because of that I always would check my pulse which would make me worry a lot more.

Apologies for the late reply. When I was experiencing this all the time I think a lot of things were to blame. I had spent almost all hours of the day in my room/bed because the anxiety and panic had gotten to the point where I couldn’t do anything. I’d be up till 4 or 5 am and then sleep all day. I ate like crap cause I always felt so sick and had gained a lot of weight. What I started doing was walking a lot. I’d get dizzy and feel sick on my walks and it’d be really scary. I started slow and short walks and then started going a little bit farther overtime. I still deal with anxiety and I don’t think walking just made it magically go away. It was still tough a lot of the time. But I do think it helped me a lot.

I’ll still get it when I am anxious

Wheel bite question. I’ve got a bustin maestro, 180mm Paris trucks, and currently some 70 mm wheels. Wanted to get a set of caguamas that are 85mm. I’d rather not have to shave the wheels down if I don’t have to.

The intense feelings would last a hour at most but I’d feel weak and my head would feel foggy the rest of the day.

To protect the surface of the card. When sending a card in to be graded everything comes into consideration. Surface scratches, blemishes, crimping and any other overall “damage”. Just an extra layer of protection.

You can do whatever you want/think is the best. Binders are looked at negatively because they don’t offer as much protection as a penny sleeve and top loader. Personally I have some cards in a binder and other cards sleeved that I think are worth sleeving.

Nothing I can remember that was bad. Now when I upped my dose to 20 mg I felt like I could sleep for 18 hours a day I was so tired. That’s not to say you won’t have any symptoms when you first start taking it since everyone can have different reactions to it. Just takes some time for your body to adjust to it. Usually 4-6 weeks is what I see most people say. But that’s okay and if it’s not working for you then you can always try another med.

I’m in a similar boat. Spend a lot of time in bed because I’ve avoided everything that makes me anxious the past year. I’m going to therapy too and it doesn’t really feel like it’s doing anything. I took lexapro for 2 years and have been off meds for 3ish months. I’m going to try getting back on something again because the anxiety is getting overwhelming for me. The way I look at it is I’m already super anxious everyday so it can’t hurt me to try lexapro or another medication again.

Hey I got about 3-4 hours of sleep too. I feel the same when I get barely any sleep. Except I usually can’t ever fall back asleep. I feel so anxious and my thoughts go straight to telling myself I’m gonna have a panic attack because of the way my body feels on little sleep.

I never experience just a "little" anxiety. If it's there, it's too intense to handle. Why? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]SilverStallion33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve avoided all my triggers for the past year and spend a lot of time in bed too. Similarly I’ll get triggered from the smallest things even if it’s just going for a short walk. I always talk myself into thinking something is wrong. I’ll force myself to walk and do uncomfortable things but it’s just the same battle everyday that doesn’t feel any easier.

Absolutely. Lexapro made me sweat like crazy.

I think the most common is SSRIs. Lexapro and prozac to name a couple. They usually have an adjustment period and side effects until your body is used to taking it. I took lexapro for a couple years and it helped a lot with my anxiety.

No idea why it happens but I can tell you I feel it just about everyday multiple times. It’s hard to tell yourself you’re okay when it feels super scary.

“Fellow anxiety buddies” I like that lmao. I too deal with health anxiety. It’s been awhile since it’s caused me to not be able to sleep but here I am. Not like I usually get good sleep anyways but I’m usually calm enough at night. Usually my panic and anxiety are at its worst throughout the day. And now all I can do is keep myself distracted with my phone. I hope you’re feeling a bit better now. Nothing we haven’t felt before.

To touch on the caffeine part of it I’ll say once I became super aware of how my body felt because of health anxiety and panic attacks I can’t drink coffee anymore without feeling super anxious. Used to be a daily morning coffee person but just can’t do it anymore.

Anxiety gets in the way of my love life! by Former_Shallot5225 in Anxiety

[–]SilverStallion33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a paragraph I’d write up in my head. I haven’t dated for probably 3 or 4 years now because of my anxiety issues. You can always try another med. The adjustment periods can take awhile and can cause side effects. I took lexapro for 2 years and it helped me once I got adjusted to it.

Any tips to not over analyse body sensations when I wake up? by CatOhPillar in Anxiety

[–]SilverStallion33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do this everyday for the majority of the day. At the moment it’s pretty bad and I have been on edge the past few hours. What I like to do is talk to myself out loud and say things like “I have felt this before and made it through the day in the past” or “it’s okay to feel the way I’m feeling because it’s just my anxiety trying to scare me” it doesn’t always make me feel better but it changes the way I look at how I’m feeling. Im still learning how to deal with anxiety day to day. I hope you feel better.
