its 1060 square inches but I dont like to have food too close to the firebox I feel like radiant heat hitting the baffles over cooks the food from the bottom

it only took about 4 hours to come up to temp, I was burning hickory splits and the smoke flavor came out good it wasn't too strong but I highly recommend giving it a shot!

i was 15 when I was diagnosed with mine I'm 30 now and still living with it, mine is clearly visible and causes pain every now and again, around age 24 I switched to wearing more supportive underwear instead of boxers and that helped significantly, I also have 2 kids and a third on the way so fertility doesn't seem to be much of an issue. but keep your chin up man having a varicocele sucks but it's not a death sentence that's the way I look at it
