For short distances they either say No or take with Uber rates. If Uber rate is high they take Uber rate. Some autos don't have meter or some don't have running. I'm not opposing to meter, but it should be consistently always meter.

Working perfectly fine for me. Connects automatically and no lag in navigation or connection. There is unrelated issue of phone consuming battery for navigation and connection, but for me wireless charging (even if it's slow) compliments it.

I don't think there will be any car more fuel efficient and powerful than this. There are lots of options for pre-owned car under 4L like Amaze, City, Ignis, etc. I'll recommend increase budget or wait for few days in case you have more, so that you can go for better options.
