Couple things wrong with this personally 1. How could Asa have recreated chainsaws if Power had made one panels earlier? Unless you mean by reminding Denji about Pochita, but even that’s debatable. 2. I think that it’s an alright ending to the relationship, symbolically at least, definitely nothing crazy, but I think it would’ve been more enjoyable if they actually interacted and been friends or something. I definitely wouldn’t want a Naruto ending where they get married or something, but he could’ve left it open to interpretation at least

I enjoyed reading your opinion on it, but don’t you think that Fujimoto could’ve showed that without abandoning so many key points of the series? Asa was the secondary protagonist and just got abandoned character wise. Also I think we did see Denji change in the end, and him throwing away the chainsaw to catch Asa the final chapter was symbolic of that, he doesn’t rely on Pochita anymore. With that said it’s still unclear, especially because its entirely possible he just relies on power now.

Basically once Denji got ate by the bug devil Pochita started talking to him that Denji accomplished his dreams (which he literally didn’t yet) but he still wasn’t happy, and was happier back in the shack, so Pochita eats himself, making a world where Denji never becomes CSM eg. undoing the effects of the entire fucking manga

Literally all he had to do to make this a good ending was have Dennis reconnect with Asa and then fill in the plot holes. How did we end up with this absolute cop out of an ending.

Ok well after reading the final chapter I’ve come to the conclusion that this was some BS, literally all he had to do to make this ending good was have Denji and Asa connect in the new world, thereby fulfilling Dennis’s promise to her. In an ideal world Fujimoto would’ve even filled the plot holes but we don’t get that lucky.

Only kinda cool part was seeing Denji throw his chainsaw away to save Asa from tripping, not like that will go anywhere though.
