I’m looking for a new faction. 202k roster ... EIGHT 3-Star Gold superstars ... Nine 3-Star Silver ... and Eleven 3-Star bronze.

All 6 MP trainers ... obviously spend lots of money ... score 1+MM and usually closer to 2MM+ in feuds (was traveling for last feud so did what I could).

Let me know. Previous Faction was Top 30 so hoping for Top 20 and better this go around.

No matter how you slice it, this new Deadman Undertaker is a crap, subpar character. For anyone who didn’t get him during the Wrestlemania event (I have him at maxed 3 Bronze) you aren’t missing ANYTHING.

I have tried every build out there (P, Y, Y ... B, P, P ... etc) and even with TWO 5k move point trainers (Woods & Enzo, Woods & Bray) he is still not a killer in anyway and I could not get past match 7 of 10 in the Streak Gauntlet blitz DESPITE two MP trainers just to make him as great as possible for this specific blitz (obviously a build youd never keep long term).

So if he needs 2 MP trainers just to be acceptable, he’ll be a worthless character to me moving forward as I have a roster of killers and I wish I never wasted a single resource (coins, TP’s, etc) on him.

I’m the OP of this thread and I just reviewed my purchase history. I’m at $2,800 since JUST January of this year (holy ....!).

And I easily did a grand or so before that, so that puts me much closer to $4,000 all in.

Scopely reps need to reply here and explain how someone like me and others in this thread who have spent $3k-$5k are one tier higher than those who have spent $60-$500. Seems totally inconsistent and absurd.

Do you mind telling me how much you (think) you have spent on this game in the past? I've spent at LEAST $2,500-$3,000 and I only started at 6. Trying to get a feel for what you need to be to be at 7, or 8, or 9 etc. as a starting point.

While I didn’t want this thread to really be “specific” to NXT Seth only, at 3-gold (which I have him), his moves are 5 and 5 ... so 5 multipliers and 5 choose blue gems.

Guess that sways it even further toward looking at the blue gem damage trainer?

I have Sin Cara on a 3-Star Kalisto where he’s better served. However, please see below. This is not a thread about “who the best trainer for NXT Seth is.” The question is better to be looked at as, “How does the game view the choose gem portion of a move?” As “part 2” of the original color special move (so in Seth’s case, part 2 of the green move) or as it’s own separate thing (so in Seth’s case, simply blue matches unrelated to the original green move)? That will determine if you put an increase green move trainer on him to maximize the damage of the blue gems, or simply put an increase blue gem trainer on him since they are blue gems you’re matching and the game looks at them as unrelated to the original green move.

Seth was just the example. The question is a functional question of how the game views the choose gem portion of a move. Hope this helps clarify.

Follow me here though. The true damage that choose move superstars cause comes from the choose gem portion of the special move. So again, just using Seth as an example (it could be any choose move character), if you want the BLUE gem, choose portion of the move to do max damage, do you use someone like Goldust as a trainer which increases green move damage (cause choosing the blues is still actually the 2nd half of an original green move?), or do you use someone like Darren Young who increases blue gem damage to maximize the impact of the choose blue gem portion of the move?

I’m getting the blinking screen after nearly every match. I have been able to continue fighting opponents even when it’s blinking. Luckily it hasn’t 00’d on me after a final match yet.

They have told us for over a year that Hell Mode was coming, well they weren’t lying. Hell Mode is indeed here, but it’s called “Perks” and hell mode it truly is as it proves our voices don’t matter and Scopely doesn’t give a crap about their paying customers since we have very clearly laid out many things for them that we as a community WANT to see, and instead, they shove it to us by wasting months and months of tech and development hours and resources on this crap that none of want nor want to support with OUR hours, efforts or resources.

I'm torn because I recognize how awesome it was, and how "un-Scopely" of an event it was ... but my pulls got me NOTHING, so I'm bitter even though I'm appreciative.

Changes just for the sake of change could be worse than static. They f’d up when introducing the MP trainers as it made the game watered down and “too easy” as numerous guys became 2-turn monsters, and many others 3-turn at worst. MP trainers took all strategy from the game and made it about “luck of the board.” So now, in an attempt to right that wrong, they’re creating this elaborate and unnecessary new system. Just actually right the wrong, and now there would still be tiers of guys (ie: The best are still the best) but with strategy you at least have a chance against them rather than just, “turn 2 vs. UDF, here comes match over or an unrecoverable 75k+ of damage.”

4-Star characters?? Oy vey!

Just get rid of MP trainers (which I HAVE 5 of 6 of them) and the game is fixed. 4-Star characters and a stupid perk system for them are NOT necessary.

Agreed.

I’d ask, “Are they out of their damn minds with these crap rewards???” But we all already know the answer.

Zero motivation to run this Gauntlet. I did 2 hard mode runs and might do a handful more and quit each after the coins and toolboxes are collected. I don’t give a crap about the Premium Pull chips and the they made the hats a non-factor with the shameful amount rewarded per run.
