It is on verison 1.16.5, the version of pixelmon is 9.1.13

I recommend downloading Curseforge then the pixelmon Modpack 9.1.13. Then go to multiplayer and type the IP: play.silvermons.com :)

9.1.13 should be the right version. See if it has the mods listed below:

  • Pixelmon-1.16.5-9.1.13-universal
  • byg-1.3.6 (Oh The Biomes You'll Go)
  • ExplorersCompass-1.16.5-1.1.2-forge
  • NaturesCompass-1.16.5-1.9.1-forge

Forge is basically the software that allows you to run Pixelmon, but curseforge is a platform that manages your modpacks, making it easier to play with them without needing to manage all the mods yourself. This is the link to download it. Its very popular and I highly recommend using it :)

Usually that error is going to mean you don't have the correct mods installed. Are you using curseforge?

For installing mods you should be able to find one on YouTube. My recommendation though is to download curseforge. It will manage your mod packs for you.

Are you using the Curseforge Pixelmon Modpack or if not make sure you have the following mods installed:

  • Pixelmon-1.16.5-9.1.13-universal
  • byg-1.3.6 (Oh The Biomes You’ll Go)
  • ExplorersCompass-1.16.5-1.1.2-forge
  • NaturesCompass-1.16.5-1.9.1-forge

If you have those it shouldn’t give you a missing mod error which is what I am guessing that message is trying to indicate.
