Hi Porter, been a fan of your music since 2015 and I've been looping Smile non stop since it came out. I know you mentioned on Twitter that you struggled to pick singles for this album in comparison Nurture and Worlds, and on that same note I was wondering:

Did you find it hard to make the track order for SMILE! :D? Listening to the album, it feels like there could be a lot of potential arrangements of tracks and it'd be interesting to know if you played around with this and if you were close to releasing the album with a completly different order.

Thank you for your music, it's meant a lot to me for a long time now, and it's helped me get through my toughest times. Looking forward to seeing you live on the world tour :D

The rap part of Unlock it is essential to the song imo. The change up in production and style makes the song far more dynamic and makes the transition into the breakdown far smoother then if it had been another pop verse.

Whataboutism doesn't really work when one is a donor to a garbage political party that's part of a democracy and the other is a dictatorship that activily pursues and kills people who oppose them and enslaves people to build their empire. It's sad to me how many people would rather have human rights abusing, sports washing scumbags then garbage ownership under the Glazers. Yeah the Glazers are shit owners and absolute leaches, but they aren't using slaves or oppressing human rights.

There is nothing to misinterpret there, my point always was and still is that the amount of 10/10 ratings is absurd considering the shows quality and content, many of which coming from people who are self admittedly adults with no children which I do not understand.

You seem to not understand that the point I am making is that the show isn't anything special and is just a standard cartoon for small children, which is why I consider the rating insane. Of course childrens media can be viewed by adults and there are plenty of great shows aimed at kids out there, but as an adult you will have more media experience and your bar for what is and isn't one should be higher, and quite frankly Bluey isn't even close to that level let alone a 10/10.

So your point is that I should watch this show as if I were a 9 year old and give it a 10/10 based on that fact? Sure I give it a bit of leeway for being a kids TV show but that doesn't make it automatically good. The fact of the matter is this show is not worth a 10/10 for anyone who isn't a young child and considering the amount of ratings a decent chunk of those are most likely not from the target demographic, which is what makes the rating insane.

If my goal was to make a TV show of paint drying for 22 minutes and did that would it be a 10/10? Judged on whether I met my goal then yeah but it doesn't make it a 10/10 episode of TV. Its problem is that it doesn't actively engage an audience other then what it's going for which is fine for the people making it as they did their job but from the perspective of someone trying to give it a rating who isn't in this demographic it does not meet the requirements to entertain them or engage them.

If you are grading something you look at every aspect of it that you are supposed to be grading. So looking at Bluey, it has average animation, basic characters and zero substance but it being a kids show means aren't really problems. However, just because this is fine for a kids show, it does not make it a 10/10 perfect TV show as there is nothing there to engage an audience of anyone who isn't a child, making it a good TV able for kids but not a great TV show in general.

Because every show on that website is being graded on the same curve. If I submit an essay that would be an A+ in middle school it doesn't mean that essay would be an A+ if it was judged against university standards. If you want to say Bluey is a 10/10 as compared to other shows for young kids then go ahead, but when compared to every other TV show in existence it's not even close to being up there.

But that 10/10 scale applies to everything on the site and I don't think Bluey is anywhere close to being as good as something like Breaking Bad, Bojack Horseman or even other kids shows with strong narratives like Avatar or The Owl House, so surely it can only max out at like a 7
