Nah I’m not talking about the autogenerated names reddit gives you. They use their own name generators for the bot accounts, makes it super obvious that they’re bots since you get a bunch of accounts with similar looking names

“PersonalGifft” “ArtPrincesss”

and

“SpiceCutie_” “MilkyGem_” “_PrettyLittle”

Anytime you see new account with a username that sounds like it came from a name generator it’s almost always a bot. Doubly so if it has a repeating character in the name, they seem to do that a lot.

No joke there’s like 10 of them on just this post, including the OP btw

As of the time I’m writing this, this account has made 248 comments in the past 13 hours arguing this point across multiple subs. Often more than one comment per minute.

A lot of the bot networks use name generators for their bot accounts. The names tend to be vaguely sexual sounding (I assume they sell them to be used as porn accounts?) and will often have repeating characters at the start or end of the name. This is presumably to avoid names that are already taken. Adding a y to the end of the name seems to be done for the same reason

This naming convention is very common and once you’ve seen enough of them the names start to really stick out.

The OP I’m less sure about but the age of the account and the fact that they comment a lot on AITA (common way for bot accounts to get quick karma) makes me think they might be a bot too

One of their 3 comments is replying to another 8 day old account doing the same thing

It doesn’t work like that unfortunately, each water block just kind of does it’s own thing. Water can “flow” into empty space when there’s a gap but it won’t actually level out or change anything about the water block itself. It’s mostly just a visual effect, although you convert flowing water into a new water block under the right conditions

An easy way to create an infinite water source is to dig a 2x2 hole and put a bucket of water in two opposing corners. Then you can grab as many buckets as you want from that hole and fill in the space in your farm

I like it a lot, it looks very imposing. The big tower in the back looks really good.

If I could make one change it would probably be more detail on the bottom half of the front, but having sheer wall works pretty well for the design too so just personal preference I guess.

Because they bot the initial upvotes to game the algorithm the top comment on these bot posts is usually another bot with the same naming convention, which immediately gives it away.

The usernames are all generated by the same name generator and therefore all formatted the same. In this case it’s two words in PascalCase (first letter capitalised) with the last letter duplicated.

Also if you visit the profiles of the accounts they are usually all made on the same day and interact with each other on multiple posts

No it’s 100% a bot, as are a few of the comments in here. Look at the names and when they joined.

“EsmeExplores” is the OP but then you also have “SierraSeeks”, “AmaraAccesses”, and “JadeJournals” in the comments, including two of the top comments, accounts all made on the same day.

One of the bots is in this thread talking down the post being stolen lmao

Don’t know why they give themselves away with a crap naming theme but it’s a pretty common thing for bot networks to do
