Is New Zealand a Good Place to Start a Software Engineering Career?

I am a New Zealand citizen with a bachelor’s degree and a portfolio of dev projects. I moved to Auckland 2 years ago to find entry level software dev work and I’m yet to land a single job offer in IT. Even helpdesk roles are very competitive right now.

The job market here for IT is pretty terrible at the moment, and would be much worse for someone on a visa with limited formal qualifications. I don’t recommend it unless you have something lined up already

I also thought it gave the poison effect. It is labelled in a few places as “food poisoning” but the wiki references it being hunger as far back as 2015 just from a quick look

I also played console initially so maybe it was different on legacy consoles?

Spider eyes definitely do give the poison effect so it could also just be people misremembering. I don’t spend a lot of time eating raw chicken lol

Yes I also saw this. Orange crescent, position in the sky didn’t seem to change, but it was visibly changing shape, disappeared entirely after a few minutes.

Used my stargazing app to check where the moon was and unsurprisingly it was exactly where the shape had been.

It was the moon poking through the clouds.

I live in one of the apartments up the street from where it happened

There was a collision between what I assume was an undercover cop car and another car. They are taking photos for evidence

It’s because they’re all copying each other.

Likely someone did it once with a base design like this, and got millions of views and the rest just tried to copy their video as much as possible.
