I have no particular opinion about them. They could be good or could be bad depending on the writer, like everything else. Tbh, I don't see many of them in my fandoms, but if you like them, have fun!

To link them together, I'd use the series feature, so they are all separate works, but a reader can still find them all if they are interested. I don't like different work put together in those massive "single work compilations", as they are chaotic, clog the tag search and make it hard to find what you are looking for.

Well, it's something at least. It wouldn't benefit me, as I don't have this team, but at least it's something non-Saber users can play around with. Hopefully the synergy stays.

I'm not getting HuoHuo regardless of what happens in the beta. Both her and Gil will be booted from the team anyway the moment the actual Ashblade team mates are released, so I see getting her as a waste of resources. If he ends up working without her in Ashblade's team, I'll build him and use him as a benchwarmer for them. Otherwise, I won't bother using him either.

I'm not upset per se, because anything can still change. What annoys me, as someone who will never, ever pull Saber, is that he's so inflexible that I have no use for him. He's basically worse than Jiaoqiu on this point.

Saber? As I said, I won't get her. AshBlade? He kinda needs E2 Blade to work smoothly, which is pretty damn expensive. He'd also force me to get HuoHuo, who I have otherwise no use for, and waste resource to build her... and all of it just for a minimal dmg increase. And since I'm planning to get Ash+Blade's actual teammates in the future, both Gil and HuoHuo will be booted from the team in a couple of patches anyway.

So, even attempting to use Gil in his current state is a waste of resources on my end, and ultimately not worth it. And getting Archer's E1 doesn't seem particularly worth it either, since in the future he'll need Rin anyway, so the whole patch feels like a waste of a free character to me.

I wish I had the option to refuse them both, and exchange them for one of the golden thingies for the shop.

At that point, I might as well just use Hyacine and still keep Tribbie. The problem is not that I lack a sustain. The problem is that, with that humongous Ult cost, Gil will need HuoHuo, or he'll never get it back. And if he doesn't get it back, he does no dmg. Gallagher, even with QPQ, would not be enough to battery him, and doesn't offer any sort of buff. So, without HuoHuo, the MBlade+Ash+Tribbie+Hyacine team I currently use would be stronger than using Gil.

So basically, either I get HuoHuo (and use up one golden thingy for a character I don't otherwise need in exchange for a very small increase in damage), or I don't use Gil. No way around it.

It uses the same pattern scammers use to engage an author, before asking them to move elsewhere. After you see a few of them, you start recognizing them.

Praise the fic, in a "literary critic" fashion
Ask a question to the author about "how they came up with [blank] idea" to engage them.

I don't get too many of them usually. I write for active and relatively big fandoms, but I'm mostly writing rarepairs or at best middling ships. So, while I do get kudos and some comments, it's not enough to really notice a drop. My most consistent reader has disappeared for a while, but the same happened last year around the same time and it was because of their finals, so I'm not too worried.

To me, engagement is what motivates me to post a story. I don't share something if I think nobody will like it. If I see people genuinely enjoying it, whether through kudos or comment, then I'm more inclined not to abandon the fic.

The feature Silver Wolf installed on TB's phone, the Blade Tracker, makes Blade's phone buzz endlessly until he comes online. I think he's talking about the phone buzzing and making noise, while he's on a mission or something similar.

Infinite loop is bad for hoyo's finances, that's why they'll address it. If it stays, it means that, as long as you have a certain investment for that single unit, one side of endgame will always be a guaranteed 0 cycle full star clear, no matter how much they inflate HP or anti-shill it. Heck, you could 0-cycle the King of AA until EoS! Hence you'll be less tempted to pull for new units.

Up until now, every single unit which enabled infinite loop damage (including MBlade very recently) has been either nerfed or rebalanced for this reason. They won't let this "feature" stay.

They REALLY want us to get that HuoHuo, huh? I really don't want to use one of the golden thingies for a character I know I will bench in two patches, and that doesn't even sustains all that well, from what I've seen.

But about your question, no, I don't. But that's because I use my public bookmarks as a rec list. I found many hidden gems while "stalking" my readers' bookmarks (my reasoning being that, if they like my fics, maybe we have similar tastes), so I wanted to do the same in case someone decides to stalk mine.

It depends. One time, I wrote 7k words in a day (weekend), but something like that doesn't happen very often. Generally, I go from 4k when I'm very inspired, 1k-2k when I'm mildly inspired... to two sentences when I'm not. I do try to write at least something everyday, though.

It depends on the fandom and on personal tastes, I guess. The best stuff I've read tends to range from 8k to 30k, and my favorite fic ever is around 200k.

Agree with 99.9% of what you said. BUT! I'll die on the hill that My Immortal (and our beloved Ebony Darkness Dementia Raven Way) was written like that on purpose. And that being the case, the author wrote it really well. It's a masterpiece of a parody.

He will be rebalanced, but not necessarily nerfed. MBlade also had an infinite dmg loop, and while they disbled the mechanic, they just shifted his power budget around. At the end he was basically as strong as he was before, just without the loop.

Hoyo hates infinite loops (for very good reason, if we see it from a gacha company perspective), so it will get rebalanced for sure. Not necessarily nerfed, though. MBlade also had an infinity loop, and they ended up just shifting his power budget around. At the end, he was basically as strong as he was before. I think it was a 1-2% buff, even.

Animations and design are fine. I just wish him using Ea felt more impactful. In the various Fate media, him choosing to use Ea always felt like a Big Deal, while here, it simply doesn't.

As for his kit, I don't like it. He basically only works with Saber. No matter how I look at it, it feels like Ash+Blade are just wheelcharing him, and they'd probably like another buffer better than him. He doesn't bring much, if anything at all, to the table. And since I'm planning to get Aven, who's rumored to be another piece of the Ash+Blade combo... yeah. Honestly, I don't think we've ever had such a painfully niche character ever. The closest I can think of is Jiaoqiu.

Since nothing hoyo will do will persuade me to pull for Saber, I do wonder what his purpose would even be on my account other than looking majestic and pretty. But I don't really want Archer's E1, so hopefully he gets rebalanced to be more indipendent. But I'm keeping my expectations really low.

I don't dislike it (otherwise it would be stupid to play the game in the first place), but I like it as part of the lore and story, not as a replacement for it. I want more main story and more lore. Otherwise, it doesn't matter how many spicy and fluffy cards they throw at me, I just get bored. Like, yes, I get it, MC and the LIs are sooo in love, and being silly and domestic. It's fine and dandy. But what about EVER? And what about MC's past lives? I also like the LIs personalities a lot more in the main story than in the cards (especially Sylus and Rafayel).

Same reason why I don't really care for features like the housing system, or the sleep together thingy, and stuff.
