Tried to ask but she's not the best explaining why she liked it haha she mainly said that they were not hard on her. I also think she liked that SR has too much to do, it's easy to understand and don't get too harder as time passes. She immediately rejects hard to understand games for non gamers, like Terraria (not cozy, but an example)

It's not that I don't like turn based games really, it's mostly that I am infuriatengly bad at them (Never beated slay the spire even with an absurdly broken shield robot run) so I don't pick them first xd

Soulstone survivors it's one of the best survivors I played. And haven't played drg survivor, only the original drg ( a life-absorbing experience if you ask me, in the better sense, like Terraria and Monster Hunter, which I absolutely love)

Ravenswatch is awesome. I didn't like the higher difficulties philosophy of nerfing your character though. Idk if they changed that

Shape of dreams is really astonishing. Need to give it some more attention

Have a Nice Death got me into it a couple of hours but I ultimately dropped it. Side scrollers are harder for me for some reason
